Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 10 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Witziges kleines Spielchen, schöne RPG- Elemente, spannende Geschichte, prima einstellbarer Schwierigkeitsgrad, taktisch manchmal Anspruchsvoll. Genau richtig für so einen ergrauten Spiel Hannes wie mich.
I really wanted to love this game, but the more I played the more I grown to... cringe from it's existence. At the very beginning, I was like "how could a game this polished have completely flown under the radar?" The graphics are good, the story is engaging at first, the mechanics are seem to be well made. But the deeper you get in the game, the more rot comes to the surface and you realise, that they were probably either running out of time or funds as they progressed deeper in the development of this one. The biggest downside is the writing. If it wouldn't have come out before the AI craze, my bet would be it is written by AI. The story doesn't make a lick of sense, the dialoges are like made of a 14 year old, writing a fanfic for an otherwise successful franchise. There are logical loopholes all over the place. Like, the post apocalyptic people call crashed planes "Sky whales" while the First Family, the ruling class still very much uses planes to move their troops and collect tax. This is just an example, but the whole thing is painfully dumb. The characters try to be loveable, but when you make your main character, who you ALWAYS need to have on your team an annoying, dumb, whiny little b*tch, you cannot hope for much sympathy from the player. Anytime Elvis opens his mouth, I want to shoot either him or myself in the head. Then there are serious mechanical issues. They wanted some of the characters to have special powers by controlling the Miasma, but they probably very early realized that this is absolutely broken, so instead of spending time to balance it properly they connected it to a mana system. This magic battery can only be recharged 3 ways: Special grenades that give power, one single ability of one single character and a modification for weapons that generates this power with each hit, but such a low amount, that it does not even worth mentioning. That is it. Not even between battles this battery recharges, so you can barely use the powers that the whole story is written around, which leaves you with just basic combat, which gets old, real fast. Especially when the cover system makes 0 sense. Basically: Half-cover is no cover (for you) and full cover is only cover like 20% of the time. From a development team that made tactical shooters before this is unacceptable. Beside all that the game starts glitching out and having more and more bugs and issues in the latter parts of the game, which just proves that no proper testing was done and the code have massive holes. You can even run into game breaking glitches which forces you to ALT-F4 out of the game and restart the encounter you were just having, which is despicable. All and all, this one got swooped under the rug for a very good reason. Buy it, if it is dirt cheap and you are bored out of your mind, while itching for some turn based tactical shooter and you played all others, too many times. Otherwise, steer away.

iphone slop no graphics options can't disable blur slop looks like mid 00s game and runs like crap on 3080 ti and 128ram not just stutters full on prolags because of all that blurry slop eating all resources seems like linear corridor game with crafting and the terrible xsom 1970s two phase combat instead of action points some of the worst writing possible disgustingly bad tutorials
6/10 Turn Based Game Pros: -combat to me was both fun and exciting keeping me on my toes during battles -game provided adequate grind opportunity thru sub quests providing additional exp and needed weapons -game provided just the right amount of difficulty without me constantly dying and struggling to progress -by constantly scavenging maps and doing quests i almost always had the right amount of consumables on hand as i progressed without having to use plastic to purchase additional items -enjoyed each players unique ability tree and the miasma abilities provided Cons: -playable characters are boring with a very unappealing main character -little to no story background with a vague backstory and little to no filler leaving much to your imagination -limited variety of party items including weapons, consumables, mods & upgrades "would of been nice for more" -combat can become repetitive whereas you spend 5minutes assassinating enemies before initiating combat -found it a bit annoying that store items cost so much but party items sold for so little, making me horde plastic until i absolutely had to use it to push through a difficult battle by upgrading my team and buying consumables -game seemed a bit short, right when it was getting interesting i suddenly found the game over Summary: Miasma Chronicles to me stands out not as the worst turn based game I've ever played and not the best but right near the middle as a excellent stand alone game that provided some interesting turn based RPG combat and is quite fun but doesn't do a good job grabbing the player and bringing them in with a driven story or appealing characters. It seems to have the bare minimum needed to keep the player moving through the game but just doesn't seem to be a polished gem of a game that it could had been. Definitely recommend the game especially if you can catch it on sale. I'm a huge sci-fi and post apocalyptic fan so this game did provide me a few weeks of gameplay and was interesting enough to keep me coming back and finishing the game till the end. This game was def a gem and even though it could had been better i recommend any die hard tactical RPG turn based player to give this game a try.
Miasma Chronicles is a hidden gem for turn-based tactics fans. While it never received the attention it deserved, it delivers satisfying tactical combat, meaningful character progression, and rewarding exploration. The mix of real-time stealth before battles and challenging turn-based encounters keeps every fight engaging. The story and dialogue aren't perfect, but the post-apocalyptic world and strategic gameplay more than make up for it. If you enjoyed XCOM or Mutant Year Zero, Miasma Chronicles is absolutely worth your time.
Don't buy at full price not worth it. Story was lacking in several ways characters were bland no depth to them mostly surface level info on them. Npc's were bland too basically only guest givers only or just enemies that had very little to them. Graphics were good game play was boring and repetitive nothing really stuck out. Skill tree was very limited and gave very little in improvement or new ways to combat that somebody else didn't have already. Powers were neat but the amount of energy to use powers was insanely high very few powers were worth even using and even with recovering items or weapon mods to regain energy there was just either too few items or cost too much to buy or were to little energy gain meaning most of the time you weren't using powers once maybe twice thru a fight. The code stuff was really annoying and because of camera being the way it was no zoom in or out made it difficult. I would not recommend it at full price and even on discount is hard to recommend either so im going with a thumbs down
it starts as a good interesting game and becomes a mess at the end. + Good graphics + OK battles if you have correct skills - Not rewarding weapons - Not rewarding level ups (actually it's a first time I see a game that allows to change skills anyway you want because... there are no good skills. Each enemy type needs other skills and you need to change your skills often to win the fights) - I don't know what magic skills do here. Most of them are costly and useless - Story is a mess with annoying characters and story twists with plot holes I like turn-based games a lot and I finished the game because I like turn-based battles only
