Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
About
Sums Steam only; PlayStation publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Amazing stealth gameplay and atmosphere with tons of ways to approach missions. It’s basically a short prologue for The Phantom Pain, but the mechanics and level design are still fantastic. Short, but definitely fun.
kept you waiting, huh?
Here's to you, Nicola and Bart
Recently been 100%ing Metal Gear games, coming back to review this after doing this one, Delta and Phantom Pain Lets be honest, you know what this game is, it's the prequal to Phantom Pain, there are 3 reasons to buy it, if you don't fit into any of these 3, just go buy a different Metal Gear game 1) You want to experience MORE metal gear solid V, you either want to get the prequal experience to hype you up for the main game OR you are coming here after beating MGSV looking for a little extra gameplay, it is GREAT for that, especially if you do this first, it has alot of teasers and tidbits that give you JUST enough for intrigue without killing the surprises of MGSV, this game is STORY FIRST so it is huge if you are interested in getting that aspect and the gameplay is great, very linear which is perfect since it doesn't allow for any powercreep, just you and your creativity! 2) You are an idiot like me who is a completionist... THIS Game was the fastest to 100% out of all 3, that sounds obvious and it is, but something to note.. ALL 3 have issues with repetitive achievements, V has its all mission tasks and animals to capture, Delta has stupid frogs to shoot and food to eat, the ONLY annoying one on this is to unlock records for each mission, which generally requires playing in weird ways.. but in creative weird ways that often push you to be better.. which I actually enjoy alot! I wouldn't go so far to say this game respects your time for achievement hunters but it definitely isn't as bad as most, 6.5/10 3) You know nothing about Metal Gear, you were told MGSV is great and that this is a prequal to it and that you should start HERE. I personally believe Delta is now the best onboarding point for a metal gear fan.. BUT.. this is a VERY VERY close second, it teaches you alot, preps you with tons of preamble to understand the characters and the vibes of the story, the tone of mood, etc etc.. It was in fact my very first REAL metal gear game, and it did its' job perfectly at hooking me If you don't fall into the above, aka you do NOT plan to play metal gear solid V, you do NOT want to get the achievements, and you are NOT starting the franchise with a simple small game of Ground Zeroes rather than something big like Delta... Then I guess this is not the game for you! Otherwise go save those little rascals from that scary cowboy with a skin condition!
It's a vertical slice of MGS5. Basically the tanker mission from 2 but expanded. One fairly sizeable base, a mission you can knock out quickly if you know what you're doing, the final elaboration on the meticulously elaborate MGS core gameplay structure. There's several minutes of cutscenes that range from shaky and mysterious to visceral in its depiction of physically and emotionally traumatizing events. The plot is only barely comprehensible to me because it follows from a PSP game so mostly I just noticed how preoccupied it is with lingering catastrophic damage.
