Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Eu gostei. Bom jogo.
Gioco non male anche se l'avventura principale e' davvero corta e abbastanza insoddisfacnete dal punto di vista del giocatore

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Metal Gear Solid V is a strange mixed bag of an experience (that goes for both games!) Ground Zeroes is basically a prologue for The Phantom Pain, coming in at ~6 hours of gameplay. It's not worth the 20 USD they're selling it for (the 30 USD bundle for both games is a much better deal). It also lacks a lot of polish both as a PC port and as the first chunk of a then-unfinished (and still-unfinished) game--controller support just breaks sometimes, the game likes to make your mouse cursor visible right in the middle of the screen, and certain mechanics are pretty jank (see: the dive). That being said, it's actually the best part of the whole MGSV package. The level design is great, environments look good, music is memorable and appropriately compelling, cutscene and voice direction are pretty good, and the mechanical design of the game is extremely refined (coming off of MGS4 and Peace Walker). There's two notable complaints I have: 1. There's not much to do and it all takes place on one relatively small map. There's only a handful of missions, most of which are like 30 minutes long. Sure, you can complete them in a bunch of different ways and you unlock more choices of starting equipment by beating them so there's some replayability (kind of like a Hitman game, to be honest), but the game just doesn't have the variability to make even its meager runtime work. 2. About that starting equipment, and items in general, there's just not very much. There's no cardboard box or other fun items like that, and there's not many weapons to pick from. On paper every mission has a thousand routes, but in practice only a handful of strategies are truly available for the player. Last thing: The movement in MGS Delta feels very similar to the movement in MGSV. It's not really related to the review I suppose, but I found that interesting and I think it *should* make GZ and TPP more comfortable to players coming off of Delta, but for some reason Delta's control layout doesn't match MGSV's (why is A the crouch button in every other MGS game except for Delta???? why did Delta have to be different??). If you played Delta before hopping into MGSV, you might be in for a rough time relearning some controls and muscle memory. (Also at least play Peace Walker before MGSV!! You're losing a lot of important story context if you don't!!)
there's an audio of
child SA
in this. oof. that's... rough. I'm very 50/50 in this game, bc while I adore the political messages and how horrific MGS is in general,
I think making (principally) paz go through all of that feels a little tricky to put into the game. specially because, as I mentioned earlier, there's a literal audio of her getting SA'd by chico. not to add the scene where they literally open her stomach and take a bomb out. not to add the way she literally died. it feels like the fridging a woman trope.

even if it's not mysoginistic, I still think it was a very abrupt tonal change from whatever we saw in the last few games. I can understand that SA is an inherent part to war and politics, and war games should not be shy about it, but it still feels kinda... strange. idk if it's because it was so well implemented in the game that I'm having a hard time processing it right now. hardcore ♥♥♥♥ tho
Il capolavoro di Kojima inizia da qui
Probably the best teaser/demo that exists. There is a decent amount of content here that lets you "squeeze" the every penny out of it, but still MGS:GZ is too expensive for what it is. The fox engine is impressive, but the game is locked to 60fps, there is this mouse cursor issue, and the game cant run Reshade unless you switch it to Vulkan. All in all its a very solid experience and a good taste of whats to come. 8,8/10
PEAK
Ground Zeroes is a tight, atmospheric stealth experience with incredible freedom—short but seriously impactful.
Пролог к MGSVTPP, одна основная миссия, так сказать ощутить, почувствовать вкус что нас ждет в другой игре. Так что отдельно не стоит покупать только для коллекции MGS, советую сразу купить комплект METAL GEAR SOLID V: The Definitive Experience.
