Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

I played the original countless times on the PS2 and this appears to be a pretty good remake/remaster so far. I'm not a huge fan of UE5, but I think the tight level design helps mitigate all that annoying traversal stutter that shows up in the open world UE5 games. There is not option to enable frame gen in the menu, and must be enabled in the engine.ini folder by adding the correct inputs. Why they released a game that requires a mach-jesus rig to run over 60 FPS with the entire suite of DLSS options, except for frame gen, is a mystery to me. Once all the engine.ini tweaks are in the game (you'll also need a mod to unlock 60+ FPS cap, again, no idea why devs feel the need to put a governor on these framerates) the actual game is fun to play. It looks really good but like all UE5 titles it will need aggressive upscaling and will look like Metal Gear Vaseline if you're targeting anything under 4K. There appears to be a pretty extensive list of challenges and unlockables, which is great for NG+ runs. Overall, I'm happy with this return to MGS3, and it's fun to sneak through some Russian backwoods again all these years later.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very disappointed by this remake. The stealth and combat systems feel broken; they completely butchered the "alert" system, and the combat just doesn't feel right. If they were going to make changes, they at least should have made them properly. If they wanted to modernize the combat/stealth, all they had to do was copy and paste the combat/stealth system from MGS 5 (which is what I was expecting). I love the Metal Gear series and it is a shame that they missed the mark so much. Oh well, I guess I'll wait for the MGS 4 port this August.
One of the all time greats and a very good remake in general. Kojima's story writing and presentation remains unmatched.
cool game
Když vám potom kručí v bříšku, nemáte přesnou mušku a musíte papat hady, krysy, netopýry, houby a další různorodou havěť z ruské džungle.
it good
