Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 55/day in the week to Aug 28 → 71.14/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The extreme tension of infiltrating without being detected.
Metal Gear series, the pinnacle of “stealth action” where you avoid combat and complete missions while hiding.
The game take place 10 years after METAL GEAR SOLID 3: Snake Eater.
Amidst the swirling conspiracies behind the East-West Cold War, Snake confronts them while leading a private military force.
This is the story of how one soldier, “Snake”, becomes “Big Boss”.
【STORY】
THE ILLUSION OF PEACE FALTERS
In 1964, after saving the world from all-out nuclear war, Naked Snake, a true hero, receives the name Big Boss, but he disappears shortly after the naming ceremony.
Ten years later, Big Boss is running an independent military unit in Columbia, when he is visited by two individuals from Costa Rica, a country without a military.
In a post-Cuban Missile Crisis world, and in a Central America essential to maintaining the power balance between East and West, Costa Rica has been miraculously able to maintain peace.
However, a mysterious armed group has been seen acting suspiciously throughout the region.
They request Big Boss to investigate and eliminate the armed group.
Though he hesitates to accept the request because the tape they brought contained the voice of The Boss, who was supposed to be dead.

I can't speak on the mouse and keyboard controls (a PSP port of a PS3 port having lackluster kbm support is hardly surprising), but otherwise, this is a port that does what it says on the tin, and more. Steam integration is flawless and multiplayer works perfectly (minus a single configuration you may have to do in your network settings), and the HD cutscenes look gorgeous. I've never actually played Peace Walker before but I'll be damned if this isn't the definitive edition for it's accessibility alone. Probably the best stealth sequel in a stealth series with sequels.
Kept you waiting huh?

Serpiente.
Straight Heroin. My second favorite Monster Hunter game. Abduction Simulator. You can give people teh SUG. The grind can get a bit boring after the second ending, you can thank the Tanks and thier 4 diffrent copies for it.
Game doesn't open over here whenever using any language other than japanese. Gotta love Konami sometimes 😒
I Didn't Have the chance to play when it came out on PSP, even if my brother had a PSP it would not let me play, and i didn't know about Peace Walker release at that time, and now after i finished the game i finally was able to play, as always Hideo Kojima doesn't disappoint, a masterpiece of a game 10/10 that i would totally reccomend people to play/buy
Very fluid storyline, Awesome gameplay, and bite size missions in Extra Ops adds replayability of the game. Originally a portable game ported in HD on 7th generation consoles now revived for the current gen and pc. adds up nostalgia if you play it on steam deck. A MUST BUY!
its a great pick up, runs great, goofy as hell with its multiplayer. one very tiny setback that i've experienced, the game will freeze for like a second or 2 on occasion, it happens pretty often, it does break the in-the-moment immersion, but not annoying to where it completely ruins the overall game experience or performance on missions
Clarification: The thumbs-up is for the game itself, not for Konami or the way they handled this so-called “remastered” version of one of my all-time favourite games. MGS: Peace Walker is fantastic. It was easily one of the best games available on the PSP. I spent countless hours with the original, and it became my gateway into what I still consider one of the greatest franchises in gaming history. Unfortunately, this remastered version does not do the game justice. First of all, what is going on with the two-stage launch process? You’re telling me I can’t simply launch Peace Walker directly and instead have to open Konami’s launcher first, then launch the game from there? It’s unnecessarily clunky, and frankly it gives you an idea of how much care Konami seems to have put into the PC experience. Then there’s that ridiculous catchphrase-style black-screen overlay during loading. Unless my memory is failing me, I don’t remember this being present in either the original PSP version or the PS3 remaster. I can understand if the original loading times can’t be significantly improved because of technical limitations or how the game was built. Fine. But covering them up with this gimmicky nonsense feels like a lazy attempt to make the long loading screens seem more tolerable. That isn’t remastering. It’s putting lipstick on the loading screen. At its core, Peace Walker is still a 10/10 game in my book, and I absolutely recommend playing it. But this particular release? Great game. Poor remaster. F*** Konami.
Peace Walker is deceptively good, despite the simple graphics. It´s a wonder that it even worked on the psp. I really like the pace, as it makes you go through 1 main mission per 2 or 3 side missions that are fun and let you get new staff/new weapon blueprints along the way. In this particular area PW is better than The Phantom Pain. And well, let's be honest in the story too as PW has a more compelling approach, not to mentione complete story.
