About

A nomad wanders the far reaches of an overgrown megastructure, a world built for a forgotten purpose in which countless civilizations have lived entombed for ages.

Short game with gritty, calm atmosphere. Smart level design, enough variety and smooth simple combat and movement. Although it is short, it does reward exploration in open levels and even has some soulsesque aha!-shortcuts.
A Great Example to why Games are Art. Metal Garden is a cold and brutal world made to drown you in its atmosphere which it achieves perfectly. The Views are captivating, the colors bleak and the feeling I had throughout is best described as... Isolating. When out of combat, you feel awkwardly alone which fits to such a inhuman design of the structure. A feeling so strange yet so familiar, a line the game dances on from beginning to end. Its short but for Metal Garden thats a good thing, since it makes it more accessable to jump back in and just expierience it all over again, like coming back to a song you remember liking. I love this. This is what a game should be all about. Setting the player inside its world and letting them explore this feeling you are trying to create within them. These are the type of games that you remember. Do yourself the favor and play this on a dark, rainy night. You won't regret it.

I'm happy with the price I paid for this game. More of an exploration game than a shooter.
Que putísimo juegazo. Lástima que dure poco
Wasn't expecting to enjoy it SO much. Really reminded me of BLAME!. sick megastructures, an incredible sense of exploration, great art style, graphics, and music. The parkour and shooting feel amazing, and the injury and healing mechanics are really cool. Can't recommend it enough. Aggressively love it >:(
Am I satisfied? No, I want more, I need more of this structure to wander. Am I disappointed? Absolutely not, this was a joy to play. The Good: Solid worldbuilding, the mechanics of the game dont feel immersion breaking, and the atmosphere just works. The Bad: Not enough game and world, the grey brown color palette is uninspired but works in some cases, and the weapons feel weak. The Clarification: -Not Enough Game and World: I do wish the maps themselves were either bigger or rewarded exploring more, it didnt really feel like going out of my way to explore was ever rewarded in a satisfying way. The game itself I also want more of, it ends on a really cool story drop and leaves me wanting to wander more. The Conclusion: Get this game, play it. It's worth asking price
it feels like halo
Quite a interesting game, isn't a long one by any means but i enjoyed it greatly. The story and the environment is so interesting.
