About
6th October 2025
MELTY BLOOD ARCHIVES has been updated to address the recently identified Unity vulnerability. Please note that MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA was not developed using Unity. Therefore, it is not affected by this vulnerability and does not require an update.
Based on Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, this is new 2D fighting game, featuring new scenarios and characters.
In addition to the systems inherited from the MELTY BLOOD series, it has new systems such as Moon Skill, that unleashes powerful techniques with simple inputs. We have pursued a battle system that allows you to enjoy intense battles with simple controls, that can be enjoyed not only by experienced players, but also by beginners who will touch MELTY BLOOD for the first time.
MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA utilizes Rollback Netcode for stable online battles against other players.
Explore an all-new MELTY BLOOD world from scenario writer Kinoko Nasu.
Unique story events for each character give each playthrough its own feel, adding to the overall experience. The dialogue is fully voiced and changes depending on the combination of characters during battle, giving more insight into their relationship.
In addition, the visuals have been renewed for the HD environment. And each character's special move has beautiful animation produced by A-1 Pictures.
Customize your title, profile icon, and character outfits for battle. They can even be used in online matches!
Collect visuals, opening cinematics, music tracks, voices, pixel art, and more in the gallery. You’ll even be able to look at guest illustrations created by artists connected to TYPE-MOON titles.
In addition to tutorials where you can learn the basics of the game, we also have missions for each character for those who want to further master the game!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm a fan of the Fate universe and Type-Moon works, mostly from watching the anime and playing a few games, so I was already interested in trying MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA. I had watched the Tsukihime anime before well seeing some Fate characters as well , so I recognized some of the characters, while others were completely new to me. Seeing them together in a fighting game was really cool. Of course, the fighting is the main reason I enjoyed this game. The combat is fast, flashy, and satisfying. The characters have their own moves and playstyles, and the special attacks look amazing. I'm still learning the combos and mechanics, but that's part of the fun for me. The fights feel energetic without becoming boring, and there is plenty to learn if you want to get deeper into the mechanics. I'm more of a casual fighting-game player, so I mostly play to have fun, but I can definitely see why more experienced players would spend a lot of time mastering the characters. The story and character interactions are also a nice bonus. I like that there's something beyond just fighting, especially when you already recognize some of the characters. I'm not familiar with everyone in the roster, but playing this definitely made me more interested in the Tsukihime side of Type-Moon. The presentation is great too. The animations, effects, character designs, and special moves make the battles really fun to watch. Overall, I had a really good time with it. If you're a Fate or Type-Moon fan, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Even if you don't recognize every character, the combat itself is fun, and the story and character interactions give you another reason to spend more time with the game.
fun, easy to run on any potato. especially good when bought on sale.
