Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

We need more games like these, past gacha games turned into an offline game.
TL;DR: The game is decent but in my opinion absolutely not worth it at full price. Has pretty much everything from the online version and the missing stuff can be restored through mods.
Having played both the original gacha version and this one, I can't help but feel really conflicted about this game. On one hand, it is a love letter to the entire Mega Man series, featuring content throughout the entire franchise history. On the other, it is a really grindy Mega Man game that was obviously not intended to be played like an average Mega Man game.
Gameplay
It is basically a watered-down Mega Man game that still has some of that gacha/mobile game jank like power levels and such. However, unlike the gacha version, this time it is more balanced towards the player. The core gameplay loop is going through missions and fighting enemies. You can select from a giant roster of characters, each of them feeling slightly different because of their abilities. On top of that, you can equip your playable character with two weapons (of which, there are also plenty).
Content
The game has around 123 smaller levels divided into 23 stages. Each has a Normal and a "Challenge" difficulty and unlike the gacha version, you do not need to touch the Challenge difficulty to progress (thank Christ, that was tedious as all hell in the online version). As for how this game fares against the gacha version in terms of the amount of content... it has ALMOST all the content from the Asian online version before it was shut down, including ALMOST all seasonal/story events that were time limited in the gacha version. What is missing is the content from different collabs (i.e., everything related to the DMC, MH and SF collabs) and all the multiplayer functionality from the online version (so no Co-op or PVP). But there is a silver lining: modders were able to add the collab stuff back in, so I heavily recommend playing the game with those mods (which you can easily add on Nexus). All the additional modes like the Jakob elevator and Race mode are still present in the game in the same state as in the original game. Overall, it is a decent game that is not meant to be played in one go but in shorter bursts. In my opinion, it is not a good deal at full price but if you see it on sale, I'd say give it a shot if you are into the Mega Man series. Edit: I have forgot to add that for some reason, the game does not have cloud saves, so keep that in mind.

The amount of tutorials in this game is maddening. I assume anyone that owns this game at least has an OUNCE of an idea how to play Mega Man. Here's how this game goes. It's a decent game, but more than anything I'm glad to see a Live Service game made playable offline after end of service.
I only give this a thumbs up because it was a originally a gacha game and I love that they made a offline version instead of putting the game in the dumpster. A live service gacha game should make a offline version when they decide they are done with development and I fully support this idea. Onto the game itself: It's not a great game by any means but it still has decent gameplay for any casual players. If you are a hardcore megaman player then this game is not for you.
It's sort of like Mega Man X for sex offenders
Can't believe i spent money on this turd of a game. This is not the megaman game you grew up with. The combat is incredibly easy, you can literally sit in one spot, press fire, clear the screen of enemies and move on. Instead of playing one full stage it's broken up into 5 levels. If you power up your weapon then you become overpowered very quickly and enemies die in one shot, bosses would take like 5 hits. There's challenge mode which makes it more like classic megaman, but still feels like easy mode. You will spend more time seeing loading screens and navigating menus than playing levels. Tons of menus to navigate through just to upgrade random bits to your weapons. It's unbearable to play. I think the only reason why this game got a bunch of positive reviews because it can run on a $300 HP laptop and those people are excited they can actually play a game on it. Dont waste your time. There's plenty of good megaman knockoff games on steam that is better than this.
Megaman X9 when?
NOT RECOMMENDED... for MOST players, anyway. DiVE Offline is a single player version of a mobile gacha game, and it shows pretty heavily. All the mechanics, advancements, and gameplay are so blatantly made as cash gates and grinds that, in its original freemium form, it would be an utter insult to play. However, this specifically is the OFFLINE version... And surprisingly for a game of this nature, they've accommodated that. The basic premise is that you take one of a few dozen Mega Man X and Mega Man Classic characters, level them, equip them, and then rush through levels that are vague recreations of old X series levels. It's simplistic, but the gameplay spurts are satisfying and addictive, as this kind of money grubbing gacha game tends to be. Obviously in the case of the online version, much of the grinding and struggle would be done trying to get the currency to even UNLOCK characters... but the Offline version here deluges you with currency, removes time gates, and lets you grind at a more reasonable pace to get skins, characters, weapons, and more. This changes the dynamic pretty surprisingly... To put it simply; it's a bit addictive to have unlimited money in a gacha game like this. With all you're allowed to do that would normally be locked behind inputting a credit card, you get to feel like an exploited and pampered gacha-whale for a much more reasonable one-time price... hopefully a sale price, because 30 bucks is far too much for the simplistic premise and gameplay. If you're a fan of the Mega Man X series, if you're looking for a mindless grind to occupy some time, if you want to play as Omega, Layer, or Vile, then this game is worth a tenner or so on sale. You'll get hours of jump and shoot, with the added addictive grind of many bars and numbers going up, unintentionally making this a pretty chill experience. But to anyone looking for an actual Mega Man game, or even just a good and solid GAME to begin with, should definitely look elsewhere, such as the illustrious and unendingly good indie game: 30XX.
Turns out if you remove the predatory monetization from a Gacha Game, you have a pretty solid collectathon. The game promises a modern megaman trip through memory lane, and it has that in abundance. While it still clearly has some trappings as a mobile-first game, the presentation is solid and the gameplay becomes extremely varried with all the weapons and characters on offer. I'm a huge believer in the importance of games preservation, and this about as good an example as I can think of that illustrates how to repackage a previously online-only experience into an offline time capsule for future generations to contextualize what these experiences were like. Definitely not a great introduction to Mega Man, but a fun jog down memory lane for longtime cross-series fans; so long as you get it on discount ;]
