Reviews
I'll share the my backloggd reviews here Mega Man 7 To start off for a game that was developed in only 3 months it is surprisingly good despite it really showing in some areas mainly the ending. Has i mainly play newer games the level design in this entry can really keep up with more modern games besides the difficulty where it can vary along the different levels as i said the ending is where the difficulty really spikes at the end boss. Speaking about quality of life if your going to play this game today beware of the lacking of it you cannot quit stages you have to beat it or lose all of your lives hitboxes are also janky but expected as it's an older game. The bosses are great but some have unreactable attacks which makes you anticipate them and not react to them besides that some of them have great designs others are simple and cliche the bosses over all have an honest difficulty with the exception of some. The soundtrack is also great some of the tracks are some of the best 8bit osts i have listened too it fits really well the games atmoshphere. The last thing i have to say is about the sound effects they are very satisfying and addicting to listen too very well made. I saw that the bosses are selected from a comunity contest which made me really happy knowing capcom really listenend to their fans. Mega Man 8 Starting this game the first thing I noticed after playing it right after Mega Man 7 are the graphics they are a HUGE improvement from the previous entry and some of the best pixel art i've ever seen which really is a surprise since this game came out in 1996 the backgrounds and animations are so well detailed and there are a lot of subtle ones in some of the enemies. Mega Man himself has so much personality and although he can feel and seem a little slow the jump, walk and running animation are super fluid they incorporated some of the smoothest exagerations i've ever seen. The boss design is very good as well and a huge leap from 7 the silhoettes are amazing and they have great colours in contrast of Mega Man 7 this one has very distinct and recognizable bosses. As for the sound design and music they are also very well made and some of the tracks besides complementing the stage are also very catchy and stay in my head even after playing through them. The sound effects are also super satisfying and they incorporated a little voice acting which was a good choice mainly in Mega Man the bosses can be a little goofy but charming. The cutscenes are funny they tried to make the game a little more serious but the voice acting was not the best which made me laugh a lot of times and I can't not laugh at a person voice acting Rush the dog. As for the gimmicks they are fine in the stages the snowboarding segments were very fun in some levels but could be a little frustrating in some of the later stages. The boss fights are also really good with good patterns and attacks they feel very honest and not some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Very good game I have almost no negatives to talk about it besides the character feeling a little slow Mega Man 9 In my honest opinion one of the worst ways to make a sequel Mega Man 9 goes back to being 8 bit after what i think was one of the most gorgeus pixel art displays in gaming in Mega Man 8. It really makes me feel disapointed because when the franchise was moving and modernizing itself capcom decided to go back to the old roots to nostalgia bait their fans removing CHARGED SHOT one of the mechanics that made mega man so fun as well as sliding. Instead of keeping on adding new cool stuff and mechanics modernizing their franchise they decided to remove stuff It's is maybe one of the worst decisions i've ever seen in gaming and one that I will be forever disapointed. They could have improved and changed so much but they keep pleasing their old fans which keeps them from really develop Mega Man. They even got their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cover back even worse this time. In my classic Mega Man reviews at some point i couldn't keep reviewing and talking about new stuff because the games from 1 to 6 were all almost identical and when they finaly shiftet direction in mega man 7 and 8 they for some dumbass reason decided to go back to 8 bit and keep on the boring classic mega man tittles. Such a disapointment of a franchise with so much missed potential. I've dropped the final boss willy as it is complete garbage and I won't be playing 10 because from what i've seen it's mega man 9 all over again. Old fans need to accept the game needs to change and not praise the complete garbage that was this degrade but after seeing how fans hate Mega Man 8 it is impossible. It is incredibly frustrating seeing a company listen too much to their fan base and not progressing with their own ideas. It is important to mantain and preserve the original essence of the game with their core mechanics but removing stuff that they have added that actually worked and made the game more fun just to please their old fans is infuriating. The worst sequel i've ever seen in gaming. I love to see games evolve not devolve just to be certain their going to please some people. I'd love to see a game where they at least tried to make something new It could be bad but at least theres some experimentation. It could also be great and improve the franchise it is a risk worth taking. Mega Man 10 Won't play

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

prot man playable in 10, bass first appearance in 7, first female robot master in 9 need i say more?
Still peak, 7 is my fave
Quitaron las intros de Megaman 7 y 8, No poner la musica japonesa de la intro en el 8, Mega Man 7 esta muy mal balanceado.
Mega Man is awesome, but seriously, ♥♥♥♥ 9 and 10.

Before going into the reviews of the individual games, I should make mention of the emulation features of this collection. I personally find them to be a major downgrade from the features that were in the first collection and can even be a bit confusing to use at first. The main feature this collection has is "Checkpoint Saves", which you would think would be saving your state in whichever part of the level you're in. But no, the game auto makes Checkpoint Saves at default at regular checkpoints and Checkpoint Saving in the middle of a level will basically just save your current health, weapon energy, and life count for that Checkpoint rather than making a new checkpoint. You can use this to your advantage though. If you came into a checkpoint with middling or low health and found a large health recover shortly after hitting the checkpoint, you can Checkpoint Save and now, when going back to the save, you will have higher HP. The best use of this is basically infinite lives. What I would often do is either just going back to a Checkpoint Save after dying or I would let myself die once if I came into a checkpoint with low HP, Checkpoint Save upon revival, and then I can always go back to that Checkpoint Save with full HP without having actually lost a life. It's a very nice system at least for the purpose of rarely, if ever, having to deal with Game Overs, but it's still inferior to the features the last collection provided. I found Mega Man 7 to be a pretty fun game with a nice 16 bit aesthetic. The Rush Armor in this game is super fun to use, especially if you get your hands on the fist upgrade that will let it hone in on enemies. One thing I really like in this game is that you can actually get all the shop upgrades in the 8 main stages (although I would definitely recommend a guide for finding some of these as some of them require the use of Rush Search and it's admittedly not entirely intuitive on giving you hints on when you should use Rush Search and the Rush Search itself can be a bit finnicky). The final boss is infamously considered the worst Mega Man Wily Capsule in history and I would agree with that, although with healing items fully stocked up it is doable. Overall a fun time. Mega Man 8 I wasn't quite as smitten with, but I wouldn't call it a bad game, just okay. It doesn't do a whole lot bad but not a whole lot great either. The 32-bit art style really did more favors for Mega Man X than the OG Blue Bomber. The cutscenes, while well-animated for the time, have arguably the most abysmal voice acting I've ever heard (even worse than the almost as bad VA work from Mega Man X 4), but it's in the realm of "it's so bad it's funny" admittedly. There are a handful of hoverboard segments that are admittedly kind of annoying (the one in Wily Stage 1 is particularly bad). On one hand I like the shop having a variety of upgrades for you to choose from so you can pick and choose which upgrades you want, but on the other hand there are some upgrades that are way more useful than others (no knockback is way more useful than climbing up ladders faster, for example). But there are enough useful upgrades that it still is interesting enough to make you think about what elements you prioritize more and what you would want to upgrade and what you may want to leave behind (there aren't enough bolts for every upgrade, so you do have to pick and choose). The overall level design is fine (minus the mentioned hoverboard segments), but isn't amazing. Overall a decent game with a somewhat neat upgrade system but some minor flaws in certain departments. I won't lie that I didn't go all the way through Mega Man 9 and 10. I did attempt both briefly, but I just couldn't find myself getting into them. On one hand, they have really nice looking 8 bit graphics and the music is great. On the other hand, I feel like the developers heard people say the old games were hard (when really they may've been hard to people not used to platformers but to seasoned platformer gamers they are a slight challenge but not overly difficult most of the time) and they decided to make these games balls to the wall hard. It's not an enjoyable difficulty anymore but rather is frustratingly difficult. I wanted to like these games, but they just brought about frustration out of me rather than enjoyment. If you are able to get past the insane difficulty, then you'll probably like these games. But if really difficult games aren't your Forte (Bass), stay away from 9 and 10.
