Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

All 4 Games are pretty bad. Play them
Excellent ports, mixed games (in terms of quality beforehand) X5 and X8 are fantastic as they always have been, X6 and X7 can suck a lemon. Losing my marbles trying to 100% this collection simply because of the tediousness that X6 and X7 provide in general. Overall it's a really good collection and I feel the presence of X5 and X8 balance it out.
This is definitely the lesser half of the Mega Man X series, with the only good (or not terrible) games being X5 and X8, but they're definately not as good as the previous titles. Mega Man X5 - While not a horrible game, it's a step down compared to X4 in some areas. Some of the mechanics in this game like the parts system and boss's levels feel like they're not explain properly, yet they seem insistent on stopping gameplay for Alia to explain things I feel like you could piece together by yourself. Mega Man X6 - A frustrating mess of annoying stage gimmicks that make playing this game normally a pain in the ass, especially when the Nightmare system gets introduced. Gate's Lab is also the worst stage in any Mega Man game due to the sheer amount of hazards they bombard you with, along with some annoying boss fights like Gate and High Max. Mega Man X7 - Gameplay is slow and boring, bosses are way too tanky even with their weaknesses, X suffers character assassination and isn't playable until halfway through your playthrough, Zero is sluggish and generally not fun to play as, and newcomer Axl is just a weaker X with a gimmick that's worthless aside from a few reploids that need saving. Mega Man X8 - While a step up from X7, it's still has it's flaws. A good example being that in order to upgrade your characters, you need to find the upgrade inside of a stage and buy it from the shop. However, each of the eight stages not only has 4-3 upgrade you need to find (some of them needing certain abilities such as Axl's copy ability or X's special weapons), you also need WAY TOO MANY metals to fully upgrade one of the playable characters. Stages also sometime go on longer than they should, such as Burn Rooster or Avalanche Yeti for instance. Overall, I recommend skipping this one and sticking to Legacy Collection 1.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

X6 ruined my life
Get it for X8, maybe X5.. X6 isn't as bad as everyone says but for the love of god stay the ♥♥♥♥ away from X7. It is legitimately the worst X game and in the ranks for worst mega man games as a whole. Get collection 1 first if you want to get into the X series. As much as I love this series and these games even I can't deny that collection 2 sorta feels like sloppy seconds. X8 is amazing and X5 has it's moments but they still don't compare to the og 4. I know it's not canon but they could have thrown in Command Mission as well to give this one a bit more bang for your buck. Get this if you like the X series, get the first collection if your new.. or buy both to let Crapcom know we want more Mega Man X
MMX5 is the best game you can grab with this collection
Despite these games being less loved than the first collection, there is still some fun to be had here. At least with a guide and some patience. Except X7... never again...
Bring back the Guns n' Roses names in 5, you cowards!
