The epic clash between two storied universes returns with Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Ultron Sigma has begun the eradication of all biological life. Against all odds, heroes stand together against the ultimate threat, their only hope laying with the all-powerful Infinity Stones.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

A bit of a step down from UMvC3.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 15: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I got this and MVSC3U at the same time and I sunk a lot more time into this one, mainly because I got both of them really to play for single player content and they were both on huge sales less than $10 each. I wouldn't say no to playing these games with my friends, but I'm the only one that plays them, so single player content is really all I get out of them. I'm no die hard fan of this series, but I had a lot of fun with this one and could see myself playing the story again in the future. On top of that, it has missions and an arcade mode to do so that adds some more even though I would say I don't enjoy those kinds of modes as much. MVSC3U is what a lot of people suggest on here, but I pretty much ran through that game's arcade mode a couple of times then felt like that was pretty much all I could get out of it. If you're planning to play multiplayer (which I imagine most people that play these are), that game is definitely better with more characters and stuff, but for me just playing solo content, that game didn't hold my attention near as long as this one did. Despite what a lot of people seem to be saying on here, there is fun to be had with this game if you're into solo content.
This is a mild recommend. I think this game is not as enjoyable for me as Marvel vs. Capcom 1, 2 or 3 (I am not that big of a fan of 3), and I enjoy Capcom vs. SNK 2 more, but I still think this is a solid game. It has so many flaws with the graphics, much of the story mode, the art direction, music I cannot remember despite my best efforts to do so, and some general jank... ...but when a match is going on, and you and your opponent are in a great exchange, this game can be beautiful. The tag system, the combos, the feel of the buttons, the new characters, the relative quality of the netcode... there is a ton to like here. Some characters are just really unique to this game and really click for me. I think another aspect is how well the characters fit the systems of the gameplay. I enjoy the Infinity Stones system, but it is not great, only just good, and it left a lot to be desired. This is a game still worth playing, but I would only be willing to recommend it to those who played the other Marvel vs. Capcom games first, and I would want to properly set your expectations. This is a video game with some terrible and amazing aspects that level out in the good to very good range. If you are okay with that and want to try something flawed and unique in the fighting game space, this should be a game you enjoy.
good for everyone
