Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The gameplay is good not for everyone and story is decent and game is good optimized. My laptop run very cool if you cap 30fps
good game for $1 money
I remember playing this back in the day on a whim and wasn't expecting much at all. I was surprised to see it had a decent storyline to it, and played it to learn more about the setting. It stood out to me at the time because it was different, and it had stronger writing then most at the time. The only downside was the gameplay itself. The play itself is sluggish responses, frustratingly fighting with the camera to spin around, and constant tapping of the lock on to force Roy to face the right way. I can see the other games from the same team, and even in greedfall resembles the same clunky combat. Doesn't look like they've learned much. Their strengths seem to be worldbuilding and writing.

Mars: War Logs is one of those RPGs that feels like it had an interesting idea on paper, but doesn’t fully come together in execution. It’s not completely terrible, but it never really finds its identity either. The story is pretty mid overall and doesn’t do enough to stand out or keep you properly invested. The combat tries to lean into RPG mechanics, but it doesn’t feel like a natural fit for the type of game it wants to be, which makes the gameplay feel a bit awkward at times. Overall, the gameplay is quite clunky, and that holds the experience back a lot. The world-building is actually one of the stronger aspects, with a solid and believable Mars setting that looks decent and has a unique sci-fi tone. The atmosphere is fine and fits the setting well, even if it doesn’t do anything especially memorable. The characters are mostly bland and don’t really stand out. Innocence Smith looks like Sid Phillips from Toy Story. Roy also doesn’t stand out much apart from his terrible haircut. Graphics are okay for the time, nothing impressive but serviceable. Apart from some texture glitches, there aren’t really any game-breaking bugs, which is at least a plus for a game like this. Both endings are fine, but they don’t really save the overall story since it never fully lands in the first place. In the end, there isn’t much that feels truly great or completely awful — it just sits in the middle, never really reaching its potential. 4.5/10
I adore the games that Spiders makes. The jank and the clever integration of the main quest with side quests is a very fun romp. This however aint it. The writing is so awful that your "enemies" will become your allies just cause, the voice acting is so bad I'm pretty sure they had no director to tell them what the hell was going on, and the combat is just a slog. Enemies will literally just fart a white mist and you will miss cause why not!
-pretty short, can't complain getting this on sale when it's already low-priced. -quite a bit dated. It's built like a level of mass effect 2. The modelling and textures are pretty basic and maybe just a little warped by compression or something that isn't necessary anymore. Will play on a potato. -dialogue is pretty bad, like it wasn't originally english, and in the translation there are errors like improper use of tenses and possessives. The voice acting is in pretty clear english but seems like they wouldn't let it get corrected there either. The final scene is titled 'Epilog'. Overall gives the impression it was written and acted by some first graders.
