Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.14/day in the week to Jul 22 → 49.38/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
If Destiny 2 is still alive I would have given it a positive review.
Marathon has one of those universal and amazing art designs for a game that kinda of you wish it wasn't tied to the gameplay style they chose. The gunplay and everything else are great, but it's a dumb extraction shooter that can't decide on its audience. I probably could tolerate some of it if it weren't for what feels like every damn quest having a stupid 'Single Run' requirement, especially the 'Main' quests that give you lore and story. Going into random trios is basically a 1 in 3 chance you'll spawn near your quest, meaning your squad helps you finish it. If not better luck next match. So you try doing it solo, only to get killed by a schizophrenic hiding in every corner. Gear fear in this game is basically non-existent, and that's fine given all the ways you get loot and stuff. So the real problem is that I'm not having any fun when I'm putting together a kit just to play like a rat strictly for these dumb quests. I honestly wish the 'Single Run' requirement would be removed from the main story missions and just left for randomly generated REP quests. I just want to enjoy the universe so I can stick around.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Marathon still alive is the biggest economic miracle in human history.
PVE solo's sounds cool. Until you realize that this developer doesn't understand what balancing is.
I do not like the game
marathon has good gameplay . but the playerbase is dwindling , the queu times are very long and when you do get a match , you wont find opposing teams . i hope bungie can get theyre act together . this is not what destiny died for .
Cool game, but the community has ruined the game. Unplayable in solos because every solo person is ratting. needs work to prevent ratting otherwise would be fun game. i've yet to actually have a meaningful fight where i didn't get ratted.
I'm not writing a negative review just to join the hate bandwagon. In terms of extraction shooters its definitely one of the most unique in terms of style. I enjoy parts of the artistic choices in this game but mainly have come to dislike most of it. I truly cannot understand why bungie decided to make this game other than to cash in on the genres hype. The loot is incredibly boring and bland. weapon designs feel uninspired. I feel like I'm playing with big lego blocks. traders are boring. none of the characters you can play look like someone I want to play as AT ALL. they look more like interesting characters Id like to see in a TV show or something. quests are boring. and my GOD healing in this game at the beginning is painfully long and annoying. watching the same healing animation 10x. Yes I know tarkov you see the same animation 10x too but it just looks better. Gunplay is SOLID. I think that's where the game shines. also its quick to get in raid and I have had zero performance issues. I dont think this is better than Arc Raiders overall and I personally don't think it comes close to EFT. (even though these games have problems of their own as well). I know I will probably get hate online for my review because the fans of this game absolutely HATE you for criticizing this game. I'm mainly writing this review to say I wish we got D3 instead of this....
game expects you to dedicate time and investments into it like 2nd job, and maybe eventually have fun 30+ hours in when you've actually progressed slightly in a single season. That would be fine if the game's actually fun or enjoyable, it's neither. If you're a hardcore player, seems like a great experience. If you're a casual like me, it doesn't get better from what you tried from the server slam and free weekend. The first few hours in the low level map is the most fun you'll ever have in the game. After that progression slows to a crawl, it's the same loop again and again. Horrible solo experience and doesn't seem like they're interested at improving the non-hardcore experience. Looks good and nice gun feel. Menus, inventories, and UXs are some of the worst I've seen in any game.
