Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun game.
The new Metroidvania title from OP. Although it has shifted to a top-down perspective this time, the solid gameplay remains as excellent as ever. The most standout features are the freshly introduced firearm mechanics and the fluid transition between attacks. With a more accessible difficulty curve compared to previous titles and a strong focus on QoL, this game is highly recommended for newcomers to the genre.
This is a well-crafted masterpiece where the world-building, combat, and collection elements—the core essentials of the genre—are solidly structured. If you are familiar with this genre, we highly recommend starting on Hard difficulty.

The game is rather nice after a few patches to smooth out the rough edges. It has plenty of well thought out boss fights and gives player's control over the pacing of the game. Another great entry from Orange Popcorn. I'm just hoping it doesn't mean the HunterX trilogy is discontinued.
I dunno, even if you stamp a blue filling map in your game, you still can't call collections of tunnels accessible through portals a metroidvania. Also the studio clearly isn't Japanese (a quick research can tell you they're from Korea) and they still use Japanese voiceover as fanservice, I guess (?) Also the game is just boring. There are non-avoidable traps and not much depth in the combat system. Everything feels clunky, the maidsploitation is also kinda far out. The dialogue is at the level where the protagonist will plainly say "there's probably a boss" when you're near a level boss. So there's that.
Finished three full 100% playthroughs of this game in order to get 100% of the achievements. The game is phenomenal, even with some minor quirks that could be tweaked. I understand it isn't a huge game developer making it so that wasn't anything that put me off from continuing to play over and over. One issue I thought could be really useful for the team in a future release, sequel or other IP they develop. After obtaining the skills or skill special attack abilities, they stay across playthroughs (this of course is something one would expect in an NG-NG+ etc. game progression system), my only gripe about this was some the special "story" progression based secret arts not carrying across playthroughs. I understand the purpose behind this, but it shouldn't be a thing, especially if you are heavily investing into the chain abilities and then have to regather your primary secret art midway through other journeys (luckily you get the final version of this in NG++...). Another issue is that even after one playthrough, many of the cutscenes cannot be skipped, or cancelled only a few can, this would be useful for those that have gone through multiple runs, or are trying to speed run the game itself otherwise, it slows everything down when they appear. Lastly, the story, while captivating, the echoes, and the threads themselves give a very inspiring insight in the what all has been transpiring, but none of this information seems to carry between playthroughs. This seems like something that should have some sort of impact to the game world itself, different dialogue between the main character and close NPCs she encounters after learning about their histories together. All in all, I give the game itself an 8/10, it was well done, smooth for about 95% of the time, with very minimal issues in game play. Great team, and I can't wait for a sequel! Now I am off to play this teams first to games. :)
