This game is really good. It doesn't have the same complexity as Noita's wand-making system, but that makes it much more accessible!
Lo vi por Alexelcapo y me engaché con su sistema de combinaciones de magias. Mezcla Isaac con Noita en un formato mas relajado. Súper divertido y me gustaría que saliera el 2, si es que habrá...

I gave myself tentacles, a kinked super long neck, a nice red demon mask, and beat people up with a 5 meter long ruler. Made perfect sense, 100% recommend.
Great Spell-Crafting, Shaky Longevity Played: 10 hours (Purchased on Sale)
Magicraft is a rogue-like that shines in one specific area: its magic system. If you enjoy experimenting with synergies, you will have a blast here.
The Magic System
The core mechanic of combining spells is incredibly satisfying. Starting with a simple projectile and evolving it into a screen-clearing storm of bouncing, splitting, lightning-infused, and poison-dripping chaos feels fantastic. The variety of wands, relics, and potions offers a lot of creative freedom, and after 10 hours, I still haven't seen all the possible combinations.
Humor & Style
The game doesn't take itself seriously and is packed with pop-culture references, like Goku’s hair or the Infinity Gauntlet, which gave me a good laugh. However, the protagonist's personality is a bit of a letdown—the "edgy/pubescent" jokes and certain "waifu" tropes felt a bit immature and might not be for everyone.
The Downside: Variety & Scaling
My biggest issue is that the game loses its steam very quickly. After about 4 hours, I felt like I had seen the loop, and the remaining 6 hours felt more like a chore to justify the 12 € I spent. • Repetition: The rooms and enemies lack variety. • Difficulty Spike: Instead of introducing interesting mechanics, the difficulty scaling just turns enemies into "bullet sponges." By the 4th level, enemy health reaches a point where your damage feels insignificant unless you have a perfect build.
Final Thoughts
The spell-combining is top-tier, but the world-building and variety are currently lacking. Even at a sale price of 12 €, 10 hours of gameplay felt a bit thin because the experience became repetitive so quickly.
Verdict: Mixed
Buy it on a deep sale if you love crafting complex builds, but don't expect a deep or varied world to explore.
If chaos, caffeine, and a wizard’s fever dream had a baby, it would be Magicraft. I booted this game up thinking, “Oh cool, a neat little roguelite to unwind.” Fifteen minutes later I had accidentally engineered a spell that turned the screen into a fireworks show designed by a sleep-deprived mad scientist. Enemies? Gone. Frame rate? Also gone. My sense of responsibility? Never existed. Magicraft basically hands you a box of magical Legos and says, “Go nuts.” And you will. You’ll start simple—maybe a cute little fireball. Then suddenly you’ve duct-taped lightning, poison, bouncing lasers, emotional damage, and what I can only describe as “angry glitter” into one unholy spell. The result? A bullet hell where you are the problem. The roguelite aspect means you die a lot, but it never feels bad because every run turns into a new experiment in magical irresponsibility. “What if I combine THIS with THAT?” is a dangerous question, and this game encourages you to keep asking it until your screen becomes legally classified as abstract art. The “ultra-high degrees of freedom” claim is not marketing fluff. I’m pretty sure the developers lost control halfway through and just said, “Let them cook.” And cook we do—usually by accidentally setting ourselves on fire with our own spells. In summary: Do you like action? It has too much of it. Do you like bullet hell? Congratulations, you are now both the victim and the perpetrator. Do you like making terrible decisions with incredible consequences? Step right in. 10/10, would crash reality again. Thanks ChatGPT
这游戏的优化简直可以用恐怖来形容。玩分裂毒蛇流。叠到一秒2000hit满屏幕蛇的情况下,完全不卡
Very nice game :)
还行,就是章节太少了,技能太多太杂~需要好的搭配运气成分较高.
Great game!
