I would recommend this game with some caveats. First of all, if you enjoy the anime this is a really good way to experience more of it, but, as much as I enjoy the anime, and as much as I enjoy the game, do not buy it for full price. I don't know how they settled on the £50 price tag, but this is not in the calibre of other £50 games. If I had paid full price, and if I wasn't already a fan of the anime, I think that the first -boss- would have made me mad. It was the first time I had to acknowledge the limits of the game, and it was just awful. Thank god I'm here to experience the environment and the excitement of descending the abyss, because the combat is dreadful. I say, if you're a fan try and get this game for about £30, if you've never heard of it I think this world is really worth exploring but the game demands a bit of patience. The game also runs absolutely perfectly on the Steam Deck.
Got this game during the -85% sale. ( 8.99 USD) It does disappoint. It doesn't tie in with the magna at all. However, the developers only made visual and novel crap. So, for their first 3d game it isn't that 'bad'. But, holy cow. The first main event and introduction reminds me of Invincible. ITS THAT BAD. I have my graphics on Cinematic and it isn't that at all. Sharp edges. Flat grounds. No good view. Just some retro game trying to make a comeback style bull sh!t. Edit: You don't get the option to customize your character. Never got an option to do so for me. The tutorial takes 1 hour to do and it doesn't line up with the Anime at all.
