There will be mining, fishing, animal catching, and other things to enjoy. And in Multiplayer you are not tied to your Host’s location, you are free to play your way, even in their game. Save the towns people and use gathered resources to help them rebuild to their former glory.
The Blacksmith, Armorer, Arcanist and Chef can level up as well, granting the ability to sell and craft better equipment

Centuries ago, a primal magic surged from the earth's depths, fueling empires but twisting it's inhabitant and the world into corruption's grasp. Forests blackened, skies bled shadow, and rivers turned to poison.
But a less prevalent radiant energy was also born, and hidden within pure warriors, the Luminaries. Armed with the light, their goal is to reclaim the land, hurling back the blight.
Yet the Luminary's gift is double-edged, immortality that tempts the soul. Every 80 years, Luminaries must yield their light to a successor, or risk eternal decay. Defiant ones hoard it, swelling into godlike tyrants of darkness, the Ebonarchs
As a new Luminary, rise in power. Shatter the Ebonarch's abyssal power source to strip their immortality, and strike them down. Together with your fellow Luminaries, push back the Darkness with Light.

so far so good, can see the potential. i will find every chest and all the loots. giant race with a focus on strength. going for a glass cannon build with most points into strength. 2 people conjured this bad boy up too. keep it going team.
Closer to a tech demo than an early access.

Luminary already feels like *exactly* the kind of game I’ve been looking for. Its simplified mechanics and ability to drop into a friend’s game make it easy to just start it up and chill without having to study complicated guides or deal with fifty different mechanics just to make your character viable. Stat points are divided between health, stamina, mana, melee attack, ranged attack, and magic attack. As for gear, weapons help determine your damage output, while armor is purely cosmetic. Skills grow the more you use them; blocking with a shield, for example, increases your Shield skill and grants bonuses such as reduced stamina costs, as well as attacks like Shield Bash that can knock enemies back. Exploration is a big part of finding new gear and supplies, and it can be incredibly rewarding. For example, I found an intimidating-looking recurve bow made of purple crystals called Voidshard simply by exploring an area I would normally have passed by without a second thought. The game is very impressive for being developed by a small team, but is it worth the $19.99 price in its current state? That depends on what you’re looking for. If you come in expecting high-skill combat like Dark Souls or a full 60-hour experience, despite everything about the game making it clear that this isn't what it's trying to be, you’re obviously going to be disappointed. Having played the demo and seen the Road Map, I believe Refractive Entertainment has a potential gem on its hands.
A Beautiful game with a good active developer. Nice start and looking forward to more to come. I like the basics it has as they work well and have a nice feel to them having a very good foundation, so I feel like as the rest progresses it will be well worth it to continue playing.
Litterly a goblin killing simulator game is all this game is at the moment...mechanics are alright needs alot of work in alot of areas really boring after an hour wouldn't reccomend in its current state needs like another 2 years at least maybe more
So here's what I honestly think of luminary so far, I played the early access with my partner last night for a few hours, I honestly see this games potential, the graphics are pretty, I like exploring and finding things, this game delivers that however, and I realise the game is early access right now, I see room for further improvement and I'm sure the developer will deliver, I think a crafting system would work great within the game as we already have the resources for it, there are trees and rocks in the game, aswell as stuff we collect like crystals. I think that more enemy types would be great and this is already confirmed to be implemented later into the game. I do wonder if base building would match into the game to be fair I think would work great. I'd love to see caves and perhaps some under the sea looting. Our characters can already swim so there's potential there. The fight mechanics could be improved some more and I'm sure all of this will come later, I have enjoyed what I've seen so far and played so far. I think it would be great if we had a reward system for quests type of thing in the game too. A mount would be awesome to travel around the map such as a horse ect. I for sure see the games potential. 👍
Honestly this game is a lot of fun, I do agree that it is in VERY early access, but it has very good bones to be something absolutely amazing. The combat is good, but not perfect yet, abilities so far are satisfying but I ended up focusing on how much i could just stun lock enemies and kind of forgot dodging is a thing. Graphics are genuinely good, again nothing to write home about but it was appealing enough to want me to keep going. Once this game has had more time in the oven I truly do think it will be a masterpiece. I was able to finish a majority of the game in the time I've played and will be returning for updates. Current state I would give it a 6/10, with a bit more in the game I could EASILY see this going to a 9/10 maybe even a 10 (in my book at least)
