LOST EMBER

Ein kleines Werk von wahrer Größe. In Lost Ember schlüpfst du in die Rolle eines schwarzen Wolfes, der auf dem Weg zu seiner eigenen Wiedergutmachung von einem sprechenden Licht geführt wird. Mit dessen Hilfe, verfügt der Wolf über die Fähigkeit seinen Geist in andere Tiere zu transferieren und somit nicht nur über Land, sondern auch durch Wasser und die Lüfte zu reisen. Das Gameplay ist sehr einfach gehalten und setzt dich unter keinerlei Stress, weshalb das Spiel ein Genuss für jeden sein kann. Auch, wenn man keine Erfahrung mit Videospielen hat. Die Grafik ist einfach gehalten, auf ihre eigen Art jedoch wunderschön und von einer Wärme, die dich einfach wohlfühlen lässt. Die begleitende Musik trägt weiter dazu bei. Sie fällt nicht immer deutlich auf, doch wenn sie es tut, dann umso mehr. Lost Ember ist ein Spiel von allumfassender Schönheit. Die optische Darstellung, die Musik und letztendlich auch die Geschichte selbst. So hat es Lost Ember als eines von bisher drei Spielen geschafft, mich zum weinen zu bringen. Einer meiner absoluten Favoriten. - A small work of true greatness. In Lost Ember, you step into the role of a black wolf guided by a speaking light on a journey towards its own redemption. With the light's help, the wolf has the ability to transfer its spirit into other animals, allowing it to travel not only on land but also through water and the skies. The gameplay is kept very simple and places no stress on you, making the game a delight for anyone, even those without experience in video games. The graphics are simple but beautifully unique in their own way, exuding a warmth that makes you feel truly comfortable. The accompanying music adds to this feeling. It may not always be prominently noticeable, but when it is, it leaves a strong impact. Lost Ember is a game of all-encompassing beauty – the visual representation, the music, and ultimately, the story itself. Thus, Lost Ember, one of only three games so far, managed to make me cry. One of my absolute favorites.
