About
Every run starts with you alone.
As you move across the map, choose a route that leads to valuable loot. Along the way, you will meet companions who will help you fight this difficult battle!
You need to collect a separate set of equipment for the hero and each companion.
Items do not have fixed slots. You can rotate them and place them in the inventory as long as there is free space.
Items become truly powerful when they start affecting one another. Some items have auras that strengthen weapons or armor in adjacent cells.
Sometimes moving an item by a single cell is enough to change the entire build.
In combat, you control only the main hero.
Companions act on their own. They already know what to do...
At the end of each biome, you choose one of two boss parts.
Each part changes the Guardian's appearance and power. After completing all biomes, you will have to face the final boss.
Some rewards in Lootbound cannot be obtained just like that.
In special rooms, you are offered several options with different difficulty levels. The more valuable the reward, the harder it is to obtain with a dice roll.

Reviews
bad
The game lacks depth and strategy. Combat devolves into spamming your strongest damage ability over and over. The gameplay reminds me of the Mass Effect 3 endings; You think you have choices that lead to something different, but once you see through the veil you realize it's all the same.

game is decent, devs are scumbags
- Demo progression did not carry over. - Game is easier or I was just luckier with items offered in the full game. Overall, it just wasn't interesting enough to finish my run in the full game. + Art is fantastic. + Music is great. - Items are somehow not interesting enough.
I've just seen the news about paid reviews, and I honestly can't recommend this game. If I had known earlier, I would have gotten a refund straight away, but as you can see by my playtime, I'm well past that point.
Pros: the game is beautiful, first run feeling is great. Cons: every run feels the same, many stats that do exactly the same, it's just an illusion of diversity. Auras kill the puzzle game by making small items overpowered.
DO NOT BUY game is decent but people behind it is doing a lot of dodgy stuff
No challenge. Runs feel shallow and unrewarding.
I tried this game during a playtest a few months ago and really liked it. I bought it on day one to support the developers, trusting that first impression. I only launched it today, and unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed. This is not at all what I expected. I had no idea about the radical changes the game went through...they completely reworked and removed exactly the features (party control and free exploration) that made me want to buy it in the first place.
Game felt nice and fun on the first run. Finished it with ease. Still felt nice on the second run which I completed with ease again and then on the third one I realized I'm doing the exact same thing for the third time with just a little bit higher HP/DMG numbers on the enemy side. CRAZY repetetive and without any depth. Content is lacking big time... Game kinda felt like a DEMO before you decide to buy a full product. Unfortunately I was too late to get a refund. I DO NOT recommend buying it unless you're fine with a game for 3-5 hours. + there is proof on the internet that the dev is paying people to get positive reviews... just keep that in mind ;)
