About
Every run starts with you alone.
As you move across the map, choose a route that leads to valuable loot. Along the way, you will meet companions who will help you fight this difficult battle!
You need to collect a separate set of equipment for the hero and each companion.
Items do not have fixed slots. You can rotate them and place them in the inventory as long as there is free space.
Items become truly powerful when they start affecting one another. Some items have auras that strengthen weapons or armor in adjacent cells.
Sometimes moving an item by a single cell is enough to change the entire build.
In combat, you control only the main hero.
Companions act on their own. They already know what to do...
At the end of each biome, you choose one of two boss parts.
Each part changes the Guardian's appearance and power. After completing all biomes, you will have to face the final boss.
Some rewards in Lootbound cannot be obtained just like that.
In special rooms, you are offered several options with different difficulty levels. The more valuable the reward, the harder it is to obtain with a dice roll.

Reviews
A good bagel with an unusual inventory and well‑thought‑out mechanics; it’s interesting to build characters around auras. I recommend
Too barebone to be enjoyable. Few unique interactions making the game a stat dump competition. Game gets too easy too fast.

Nice game and fun for the first times playing each character. I got 10 hours out of it and it cost 10 bucks so that makes it worth it in my opinion. Would greatly expand the replay-ability by adding more characters and items. i don't see much point to playing the harder difficulties if they make the game harder but don't expand the experience some how.
This is a great game, but the RNG for runs makes or breaks the run, the fact that RNG determines a run with a roll that 90% of the time fails is bad, I have only beat the run 1 time even though my character is maxed out, it is a fun game but the RNG kills it with how difficult the runs are. This game needs a QOL update that balances the game out more. Other than that it is a decent game!
The game was an unexpected and pleasant surprise - especially those moments when you spend half an hour rearranging gear in your inventory, only to suddenly realize you've somehow built an absolutely ridiculous setup that just steamrolls everything. The RNG can be questionable, the dice sometimes straight-up tell you to go ♥♥♥♥ yourself, and after a while you do start wishing there was a bit more variety, but it's still really hard to put down. A great roguelike from the classic “just one more run” category - and then somehow another couple of hours are gone. Overall, I’d give it a 6.5–7 out of 10.
The atmosphere is great, the pixelart is fantastic, items are varied and fine but abilities are pretty unimaginative. The witch's corruption is OP.
Initial Impressions I was genuinely unsure about picking up the game at first, especially with so many players voicing concerns about the overall balance. The complaints made it sound like the experience might be frustrating or inconsistent. Gameplay Experience Surprisingly, most of my runs have been successful — even when playing on the higher difficulty settings. The balance issues that others mentioned haven’t really affected my enjoyment or my ability to progress. Value for Money For the price, the amount of fun I’m getting is honestly impressive. It delivers way more entertainment than I expected from such a low-cost title. Overall Verdict Despite the initial hesitation, the game turned out to be a great purchase: fun, challenging in the right ways, and absolutely worth the small investment.
8/10
For a reason I can't explain myself, I really want to like this game, but I can't. The game promises you deep gameplay with endless replayability, but never delivers it. Looting chests with D20 rolls is actually fun, and even more fun is playing with your inventory in an attempt to build the best possible combo ever. The problem is that after a few runs it feels like you've seen it all. The same items, the same few variations of enemies, and dull phrases at campfires. You can't build anything unique for your character every run. There are 1-2 builds the devs prepared for each character, and you end up building one of these every run. Regular/Elite fights do not require putting much thought into it. Depending on RNG, you either basic-attack through every encounter or are annihilated without having the tools to overcome it. Same goes for the final boss -- there is no tactical gameplay, you just put your RNG and inventory-building skills against the boss, and a few more RNG rolls (evasion, crits) decide the outcome. At the start the game lures you in with meta-progression and a ton of unlockable buildings, but most of them are just lorebooks, and 4-6 runs per character is enough to unlock everything for them. I can't recommend the game, and I can't imagine how a few balance patches could fix the gameplay, but I want to wish the devs the best of luck. Maybe they'll manage to improve Lootbound, or their next title will be the desired step forward.
