instead of an annoying but at the 8th episode that u just have to relaunch the episode and say continue. this game is pretty good and funny if u like side scroller narrative games with a lovely sens of humor. i recommend this game for narrative and humor enjoyer.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ok so I LOVE The Chinese Room. Dear Esther and The Rapture are among my favourite games of all time but this... this is SO BAD. Let me explain. Their other games shine by their witty storytelling and immersive environment. A 2D platformer is not really what I would expect from them and guess what? Gameplay: It's terrible and bugged beyond belief. You are slow, puzzles are not interesting, and it's mostly walking with almost nothing to do than jump over cliffs for 80% of the runtime. The gameplay mechanics seem to be hardcoded instead of engine physics which creates a lot of failed expectations. I had dozens of game breaking bugs (during my 100% playthrough) where I had to go back to the menu and even twice I had to redo a whole chapter. The bugs are particularly gruesome in the late chapters (I did chapter 8 four times, I had the same softlock each time and had to reload the save). Story: That's obviously the reason I played this game and... It's disappointing. The voice actors do their best and the writing IS witty. It's just... not really interesting. It's 2 Russian dudes arguing for 4 hours and it gets boring quick. Art: You are walking slowly and, unlike a 3D 1st person walking sim, you can't pan the camera to see different stuff and use perspective or hidden rooms. It looks like they tried to do a 2D walking sim and well, it failed. The art is very nice and it's obvious a lot of work went into it but... Seeing a very well modelled cartoonish rocket pan in and out of view as you slowly walk past it is NOT how you make an engaging 2D art style. What's mostly important, I think is the art direction, how you will reuse the same assets in your game, quality and vision over "we modelled every single asset individually". Don't bother with this one
This could be one of the most boring experiences of this year. Never have I seen a jump and run game with as few ideas as this one. Mindboggling. Not to mention even IMAGINING the poor souls of the QA Team that had to play this over and over again, without ever having any meaningful way to interact at all ! There are no puzzles. I solved the first 2 whole chapters and did nothing but the most fundamental and basic of platformer movement - run, jump, climb up, press button, push box. Most of that far slower than I would have liked, and so clonky that I never even reached a level of movement that would have at least felt satisfying in and of itself. After over an hour I still have nothing better to do than stuff that other games would be embarrassed to show you after the first 5 minutes of tutorial are over. And the humor. Oh boy. The whole premise of the writing is "I hope you find bad over-the-top 90s style Russian accents funny!" If not, there is absolutely nothing there. Nothing. Wow, what a train wreck.
I really enjoyed this game. It's very simple to play, and has a good story. I'm looking forward to more adventures from Ivan aka Billy bulls!*t. Definitely recommend at full price, ON SALE its a bargain. Great for achievement hunters. And plays well on handhelds
