Easy to Learn, Hard to Master
We’re committed to making gameplay approachable for new and veteran players alike by allowing you to jump into the fray quickly and providing many in-game resources. Though don’t be fooled, Eterra has many dangers waiting for you that require a mastery of combat and build-crafting.
Zero Pay-To-Win
Last Epoch will never offer gameplay advantages by being able to spend real money. We believe in creating a fair environment for all players.

Reviews
Pretty good game, the reason I RECOMMEND this game is: there is NO DRM, no requirement for online connection, no restriction for steam client. There are far too few games that give you that amount of freedom and for that I can overlook some of the flaws of the game. They are also planning on split screen coop. It’s fun in the way that D3 is fun, but more complex. If you’re looking for a D3 clone without BS then it’s the game for you. I’ve played 3 classes so far, with 3 subclasses and I’ve experimented with different builds. I feel a little bit more freedom than I did in D2, way more than D3. You can clear content without a build guide, which I also really like. The skills are interesting enough to make me want to see how they interact. I’m not a super invested gamer so it’s just enough to make me enjoy playing. There isn’t many flaws worth mentioning because of the things I said before. One I will say is, the controller support is pretty awful, some menus I get stuck so I use the right stick then I get stuck again. It’s frustrating. If there’s a controller connected then there needs to be a discrete controller setting. With 0 need for a mouse pointer. The layout should support that. I can get past this though, it’s really just an inconvenience. All in all, a gem in a sea of ♥♥♥♥, POE2 is for hardcore players which I respect a lot. I am really happy with this game and the way things are going. I don’t mind buying extra content or classes.

path of exile is better and also grim dawn is better and honestly even diablo iv is at least on par and diablo 3 is better,
I didn't like it. Diablo's woke blue haired nose ring cousin with very little to do. Wish I would've returned it in the 2 hour time frame. Jokes on me.
Best game for a min maxing casual like myself, I have 3 jobs and I'm still able to jump in and enjoy some satisfying game time while doing other things like listening to podcasts/movies
Game requires an account (and email) instead of using your Steam user. If you want to change the name you chose it can only be done through a support ticket, so pick wisely....
Gender locked classes... I didn't want to waste my time with this as a result... especially since both of the classes I was interested in playing were female. Refunded... maybe the game is good maybe it's bad, but I see no reason why a multiplayer game that released in 2024, should have gender lock on anything... they can use AI if they can't afford it, I couldn't care less as long as they deliver a better product.
Unfinished story even after full release. No thank you
280 hours spent trying to make the game fun and it just isn't. Everything after level 70 is a slog, and none of the seasons so far have made endgame even remotely enjoyable. Lots of QoL things that one would think would have been corrected or updated since Early Access are still not addressed.
They just gave up. Endgame is the most boring shi ever. They refuse to add any real substance.
Hot damn are you serious? This long and you still can't put transmog in the game?
