Abandoned game.
5 years, still not finished
Game is nice and all, but no longer captivating. IMO it's charm is ruined following some of the player-base feedback requesting more approachable and basically making card system useless. Now this system feel completely like 5th wheel, and the game has nothing to stand out.

Ehh... there isn't much going on so far. Game gets boring and repetitive pretty fast.

Ehh. It's actually pretty boring in single player. There is some variation between the factions but eventually it's just the same game every time for each and every one of them. There are only two ways for you to win, either by building all "wonders" or conquering the world. Fighting isn't really fun either, it's just you purchasing cards and then placing them against the opponents units, and the game "auto-battles" it until either you or the opponent wins. The game's been on Early Access for almost six years. The game gets updates a couple of times a year, and while the updates are good quality it's just very slow pace. If they ever release the game fully it's probably going to take another six years. There are bugs, some game breaking some not that bad. Sometimes the game starts breaking up on you after you hit 1000 population, which is pretty annoying considering it'll take hours to even get to that stage. It's not necessarily a "bad game" but it isn't the best either.
Developer integrated generative AI slop. Deeply regret giving any money to this when the developers have no creative or ethical standards.
This is a ok 7/10 game. Fun faction based city builder. Similar to Civilization where the player chooses a starting location and faction in order to slowly progress through the ages of time. Each faction has small differences and each starting biome give unique bonuses. Each age has new buildings so you must be constantly changing your city layout. --side note ~100 hours to 100% the achievements Overall---------- Pro ---Maps: I love the randomly generated maps. Fun amount of biomes with important differences. Small aspect but cool and fun. ---Art: Cute animals. Great building models and map textures. ---Minigame: I liked the small Zoo and Museum mini games. Fun the first couple times but gets stale kind of fast. Maybe add more animals with bonuses like the museum. Con ---Information: I wish there was ways to see some stats and information. Maybe this game needs more views (house level, where goods are consumed, gold usage, etc.) ---Military: The military is a bit too simple. It is similar to an auto-battler. The AI Cheats compared to their population regardless of difficulty (just changes amount of cheating). Also why can't you create lower tier units after unlocking higher tier items? ---Difficulty: Higher consumption is a bit crazy. (Diety I know is suppose to be hard but it feels not possible ~270 years of slowly eating my people to win) ---Maps: Unpathable territory (You can buy land with valid tiles but then the game says no even though the tiles seem fine (Maybe this is to stop some bug or coding error but maybe change the tiles to rocks/mountains) ---Bugs: A few bugs encountered during play. Sometimes when a prompt appears clicking either button does nothing unless you wait a couple seconds or click something else and reopen/reprompt The game seems to crash after playing on Large maps after a long time (Could easily be a windows 11 / RAM issue, not sure if the game caused it) Early Access Suggestions------------- 1.I wish there was ways to see some stats and information. Maybe this game needs more views (house level, where goods are consumed, where goods ARE, etc.) 2. Tab that shows how much each building uses in gold seems to cap out and not show all buildings once you have X many. 3. Give the player an option to auto delete things underneath new placed objects instead of deleting and then replacing. (maybe checkbox in settings) 4.Why do some popups have autohiding options while others don't? 3 cards turn into a wild and the player can choose to never see it again. This should also be an option for the new immigrants smiling and the Book choices. 5. Maybe allow the player to give a ranking on books and auto hide going forward. (for example I want 1.Passion 2.Productivity 3.Sustainability 4.Motivation 5.Frugality) Then I would always get the highest ranked book offered. Maybe as an option. 6. Why only 1 luxury importer (if it has a high upkeep 1000g, why also limit the amount of buildings to 1?) 7. Clarify what a "Round" is. Some buildings state once a "Year" while some are one a "Round" I would easily recommend this game for people who like city builders otherwise I would wait until full release for some more quality of life improvements and adjustments.
