I had overlooked this title for years. Sometimes it would pop up on my radar but nah. But recently I decided to buy the Re-Reckoning edition on a whim (the discount helped) and now I can't figure out why I didn't play this title before. Though not spectacular or ground-breaking it's a very decent rpg with colourful graphics and fantastic music. The character development is good and flexible while combat is very satisfying and quests are plenty. The accent is on hack and slash, but there's also a decent amount of lore in the game. I'm thoroughly entertained with this remade game from 2012.

For context, I never played the original and this has been my only exposure to the game in 2026! I don't think it's a bad game, people seem to be quite fond of it and have put mannnny hours into it. But it just wasn't for me. I would describe this game as a very 'meh' single plater, WoW/MMO clone that has some fun combat. There is far too much exposition for me to actually get immersed and care for what is happening in the world. The gameplay loop I found to be pretty boring and repetative and found it to be a little too buggy for my liking. The only think I enjoyed was parts of the combat. If you haven't playerd the original, maybe save your money :)

Топчик, но большенство побочек скучные, стоит пройти сюжетку, квесты фракций и длс, в остальное можно сильно не упарываться. Боевка шикарная, билдов до кучи, мультиклассы есть, во время игры можно поменять плейстайл в любое время, так что за одно прохождение я попробовал много комбинаций. А еще крафт в игре имба сломанная, забейте на него, с уникальным выпадаемым шмотом интереснее. Игра и так проходима, я играл на максимальной сложности.
The more ya do the more it opens up. It's pretty awesome. Still so much to do even with 172 hours into the game. Of course i don't power level and am enjoying the story line immensely!
