Kingdom: New Lands builds upon the award-winning gameplay and mystery of Kingdom by introducing an abundance of new content to the IGF-nominated title while maintaining the simplicity and depth that legions of monarchs have come to experience and enjoy.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 27 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun time waster. Peaceful (mostly) and enjoyable. Simple concept but make sure you stay ahead of the gremlins!

A diferencia de los otros Kingdoms, New lands; se cocina a fuego lento, el progreso sera mas despacio, es como si tuvieras todo lo de su hermano menor; Classic, pero avanzando por islas. Nota: 9/10

It’s hard to pin down exact genre for Kingdom games - it is kinda strategy, but number of actions you can do is quite limited - it is base building cause you essentially just spread your single base to get more resource nodes and it is a tower defense, since you got waves of enemies that try to reach your king, whose death means game over and only way to defend from them is literally to build towers and walls, fill them with units and hope for the best. There is way to attack enemy spawn points - portals too, however even if you manage to destroy all of them, at least one giant waypoint remains at edge of map that would produce biggest waves. Those expeditions to reduce enemy numbers have to be very carefully planned, cause you need lots of firepower to do that objective and losing your force might mean game over. There is essentially only two resources in game - people and gold, you can get gold from several sources, main reusable one being fields of wheat that could be built at your base. People on the other hand would need to be recruited manually with your king in homeless camps, those would disappear if you spread your base to them, so you have to be careful with expansion to not lose sources of people, who respawn at those camps after some time. Everything happens from side scrolling perspective and your king is the only unit that you have direct control over and who does most of job and also your main weakness, cause he has noway of fighting back if attacked and death means game over. At same time you need to ride all over the map to explore, uncover rare points of interest, recruit homeless to join your kingdom, put locations for buildings etc. Speaking of buildings - all of them could only be placed on specific nodes or areas - towers on boulders, wheat fields on cleared big enough empty pieces of lands and so on. Main goal of each map is to find shipwreck, rebuild the vessel, crew it and get out of the island, in campaign, you have to repeat that quite few time to reach final land and ending of the game. There isn’t really much of plot at all - you’re monarch that has to save your kingdom from aggressive monsters called Greed who aim to destroy human lands. That’s all, there are no in-game cinematics or dialogs or anything. Audio consists of mostly calm tracks during your exploration and building phases with few alarming ones when waves happen and you got to fight for your life. They are decent enough, but nothing outstanding in my opinion, just good enough osts. Sounds are fine, there aren’t that many of them to be honest. Graphics are minimalistic pixels - they had a bit of modern touch to make them stylised enough to look fair for some years to come hopefully, but not whole makeover beautification of old school ways, just a nice touch up.
I recommend it. It’s not Songs of Conquest when it comes to new pixel art game and it’s definitely not Contra or Mario but it’s a game worth having and spending at least a few hours on. It’s relaxing and pleasant, sometimes in a way that really draws you in and gives you a little adrenaline boost. What I really like is how easy and intuitive it is to understand, kind of like assembling furniture: there is probably a manual somewhere, but who cares. Protip: it goes perfectly with your own soundtrack: try Fever FM from GTA or YouTube mixes like “It’s summer 1985/1986/1987/1988 and you are driving in Miami" It fits perfectly
Fix the stupid suicidal AI
The original Kingdom is very fun. This one is just dull. Lot's of waiting around for things to happen. Tedious and boring more than exciting or challenging. Achievements are also bugged on save and continue so you will get them even when you shouldn't. Regret buying,
fun lil indie game to play for couple hours a day some stupid moments though that are slighty rage inducing 9/10
