A unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. Knight's Tale is a modern retelling of a classic Arthurian mythology story filtered through the dark fantasy tropes, a twist on the traditional tales of chivalry.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 1.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I loved the combat, which is turn based, for the first 75% of my playthrough, but later on it got a bit repetative. There are many heroes to recruit into your team, but you can take only four to a mission each time. Because of the limited XP that you gain for your team it is best to focus on upgrading 6-8 playable heroes which I feel is unfortunate. The main story was decent. Just enough to keep me interested to finish the main campaign. Recommended but probably best to wait for a sale.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I love turn based CRPGs. Especially in medieval settings. But this game wasn't done by a smart game designer. Or level designer. - combat is repetitve even in the first hour (!) - encounter design non-existing and ranges from bad to really bad: - e.g. you walk around the (small) map and enemies pop exactly 1 field behind you.. oh boy - e.g. movement range is super short, reaching ranged enemies is painfully slow - e.g. enemies killed do stand up after again a few turns if not hit again (yawn) - e.g. no option to auto speed up movement, you always have to hold space (yawn^2) - e.g. little to no environmental actions or tacatical options to make combat intersting (why not?) - e.g. no trapping, luring or ambushing enemies.. everything is super static and set - overwatch really only works okayish for ranged toons, melee OW is just guess work/unpredictable/badly implemented - a few "combos" in the game that have some effect (you know, "Fun"), but most of them patched into nirvana with 2.0, again.. no smart decisions in the game design department - progress systems mid: level ups, a few skills to pick with boring +10% more damage, +1 turn duration and similiar (yawn^3) - itemization: also mid at best, a few fixed slots, fixed item types per class (6 classes) nothing that will get you excited when it drops, no mix and mesh, only a little bit of min-maxing in the equipment screen, but don't expect anything in the range of Divinity:Original Sin or even close to diablo. Very very limited. - overworld progression: Building up your base is a nice idea, but it's totally uninspired/boring with little added value. I mean, at this point I had the feeling the designers never played any other games. Even a game like State of Decay has more interesting buildings and progressions and it's bloody shooter. How lazy can you be as a designer? - Instead of fixed camera, you rotate the cam all the time for little gain with a rotating mini-map ffs that lacks contrast. It's a soup of gray. Like most of the environment itself. Ugly. I constantly miss those boxes. And instead of fixing that, they colored those green on the mini map.. well + Characters are detailed and nice, but that's it. - Monsters look mid at best, gray, brown.. pixel soup.. like most environments - The maps are mostly tiny, your toons walk slower than a group of grandmas and it really only stretches the time to the next encounter (and to pickup a few gold coins in chests.. ) BETTER: Auto drop loot after the encounter, no walking around, auto cut scence, auto encounter with no walking around.. would improve game flow by 200%. + voice overs are okay + dialogues and lore texts are okay + upgrades and choices add some replayability TL;DR: Overall slugish game with no real focus or unique point of sale from the get-go. Besides being camelot themed that is. And it's not like that genre hasn't great references like xcom or d:os2 that have been out for decades and play more fluently with better UI and map design. Even UFO: Enemy unknown with all it's quirks plays better. And that was in 640x480 pixels in a DOSBOX.
Excellent turn-based combat game. If you are a sucker for an Arthurian tale, then it's a must buy. The story and character events are well done. It's hand-crafted maps and scripted experience don't get old after 1-2 runs because of the Religion/Ethics system and play diversity that comes with those choices. There is enough challenge for veteran strategy players on Very Hard. There is plenty of content if you fall for this game with a 60hr main game, two end game options, and four skirmish options. KA:KT strikes a great balance in the skill system. Too many games fall into the too simple or over-complicated bloat categories. KA:KT is an absolute gem. Must buy when on sale especially since the base game doesn't need DLC to feel complete unlike so many other games these days. I've enjoyed 350hrs and 1yr after purchase I've decided one more run is better than so many other options.
This game is not good at all. There is no strategy or tactic involved at all, bar some very standard boardgame mechanics. Not sure why other reviews consider this a good turn based RPG - no actual inventory, just "runes" that basically resemble items. Few to be collected, otherwise static surroundings, tactic is limited to positioning and higher difficulty means more enemies to fight off - no interesting skills from what I saw so far, nothing that would be really gameplay changing.
This is a pretty fun game if you like King Arthur mythology. The tactical combat is mostly just alright and the voice acting/writing can be a bit awkward, but it's still fun to build a party of knights from Arthurian myth.
Quite good tactics game in some non expected world. Finished the game on the highest difficulty and it wasn't easy, most of time it was interesting, except some parts of the endgame. Cause in the endgame you get max-level fast and then you don't have much ways to improve further and there are too much missions.
