Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 18 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I enjoyed the game when it first came out, even with the smaller player base. I came back later and still had a great time. However, the developers decided to update and "balance" the game in ways that weren’t necessary. Seriously, why give us the ability to hide if the clowns can still see our name tags? It just doesn’t make sense!
*Edited* I hate to say this, but they failed in one way or another, the game was great for the first couple of weeks, but besides the incredibly toxic community, the easiest Anti-Cheat to get around, and a few miss timed attempts from the Devs, this game is struggling on Steam. Price point is probably a little higher than it needed to be, before the eventual down fall i had people who wanted to play it but couldnt get past the price. People wanna argue if its dead or not, but usually has under 100 players from steam, which means most lobbies are filled with console players who are children. Like literal children not just how they act and talk. I had such high hopes for something based on a Cheesy yet Cult Classic... Hopefully the Devs Delusion wont get the best of them and they can turn it around.... With the Addition of the new in game MicroTransactions The Devs have Completely Failed the IP and the Players, ♥♥♥♥ Illfonic

They promised many things. They promised larger maps, they promised a voice chat that changes your voice to Klownese, and worst of all, they promised class specific perks such as those of the Trapper. Instead of releasing those things, they decide to release patches at a snails pace, even taking a "well deserved break" for two weeks. This studio of nearly 50 people continue to build revenue off of calling this an "Indie game", while under-delivering on their promises and overcompensating for balance changes. Also released seven DLC, despite also releasing only four patches that haven't improved bugs or gameplay. Do not buy, unless at a significant sale. Vote with your wallet. Tell them they need to fix it.
Trapper klown is unfinished, pages of cut content, every human class plays the same, every klown class plays the same. This game would be overpriced for 20$, let alone the 60$ premium. Do NOT pick up this game, sale or otherwise.
This game was at a peak time at one point. loved it. lack of devs working with this game and bugs caused it to fall off just like TCM. Rip.
Wish I never bought this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass game...the people who made this game do not care at all...I wish I could get a refund :/
Works much like F13 or TCSM: there's a few different exits, with specific conditions that have to be met by the humans. Complete the conditions and a certain number of humans can escape through that exit. Klowns try to kill survivors. That's it. I kinda like it. Not as dead as it seems (crossplay baby!) but the flipside is there is an epidemic of leaving (no leaver penalty) and I can't even blame people because I too have fallen for it. The balance in this game is TERRIBLE. Speedrunning these matches is always a problem and that's why DBD has so much slowdown: can't kill survivors directly, objectives take a while, etc. None of that here. There's not really much counter to this game's equivalent of "slugging" except stockpiling knives (if you can find them) or getting one from a dead player. If you get two klowns on you, you're screwed and the game is over if they are any good. Conversely, humans can complete an objective ~within the first minute of a match~, literally before the klowns can reach it from spawn, and get away with 4+ people. On top of this, chases are generally uninteractive - sprint away from the Klown, sprint towards the Human - instead of the more interesting chases of DBD. Combat is more involved, but it's kinda janky. So naturally people leave. Because why play a match where you just watched half the opposing team get away 1 minute into a 15m match? Or where you die 30 seconds in and have to watch everyone else play and hope for the good luck of a respawn? Or where your teammates purposefully deny you an escape and call you slurs? I think it has promise but I can't recommend it. Too expensive and I'm already having a bad experience with toxic players and frustrating design.
This game was genuinely so fun, and its unfortunate at how fast it died out. I genuinely believe if you guys make a comeback I highly recommend (due to its low player base and lack of major updates) that it should go on sale to get some people back into it AND maybe that will encourage more updating on behalf of the team especially with new maps and cosmetics. Most of the comments I used to hear is how expensive it is to begin with, but I think 15-20 bucks it pretty reasonable now under new circumstances. A 3v7 makes groups want to play more, the combat is fun, and the maps are great. Looking at the Steam stats for how many players were on, 28 is not a good number to see. Especially when there were 4k on when it peaked. I hope it gains more traction still cuz I loved this game when people were on. <3
Its actually really really fun sadly no one heard of it when it came out, so not many people play it now, but most of the parts of the game aren't anything like TCM or DBD which is great. Its based on a really funny and good horror movie. You should play this game! 8.5/10
