Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

However, opportunity arrives when a big cash reward is announced for solving the 'Soothsayer' case — a string of serial murders with a death grip on the metropolitan city of Kassidy.
With great reward comes great risk — will this be the case that defines Kathy’s career, or will she become the next victim of the Soothsayer?

A role model for what a modern point and click should be.
OK so many years later and I came back for the sequel yes I know it came out in 2025... I try and play EVERY P&C Adventure game and I just came off 2 TOTAL bangers I should review first. Foolish Mortals and The Drifter BOTh were 9 or 10 out of 10... BOTH of those games are MUST PLAY --- Kathy 2 joins this club... DOES NOT DISSAPOINT. I said in my review of the first game It felt VERY forced that she was a tough chick and didnt feel EARNED... here they apparently listened to my feedback and gave some more obvious reasons for Kathy's Rebelious nature... it even becomes a plot element.. wow. SO THANK YOU because that let me feel like she was a much more relatable character and this by extension led to a more IMMERISVE and rewarding P&C experience. I also appreciate the lower level of "moon logic puzzles" and instead replaced allot that with simple critical thinking...Except the LOCKED drawer... I felt foolish on that important and obvious one, Anyway Thank you for not treating players like idiots and I hope it was my comments and similar reviews that lead to adding the much more fleshed out past. This game lets you feel like a detective and I genuinely enjoyed that. My only gripe is having to click the bag for inventory I think I am spoiled by games where hovering low on the screen or at top opens the inventory... its such a minor minor minor gripe I shouldn;t even mention it. THIS is a MUST PLAY P&C like the last 2 I mentioned at the beginning of my review and really fills that Gabriel Knight gap nicely for me and fans of games of that ilk. I give this game 10 Kat-mobiles out of 10.
Interesting mystery, linked to the first game set three years earlier but in a different town. The malleable realm is once again an interesting odd place.
Neat story, good voice acting and art direction. A nice 6ish hours
this game is a good noir point and click game however Kathy Rain is the most unlikeable video game protagonist of all time worse than Jason Brody, reboot Dante and Ethan Winters combined. almost made me quit
Excellent story line and a game with puzzles THAT MAKE SENSE. There's so many games out there with absolutely terribly thought-out puzzles that never make sense without a guide. The story and puzzles here were very well written and developed. Even the dialogue did not feel like a drag to read through. Well worth the time and money spent on this game. Now I have to play the first one!
Great game as the first part. We can highly recomment this. But be careful because it has suicide, murder and mental health issues, parts. So if you deal with that it might be better not or not alone to play this game.
liked just as much as Kathy Rain DC
Eileen is best girl Great sequel to a great series. I was hating Kathy for a second in this one, but I think the overall story wraps everything up nicely to where I didn't hate her anymore. Highly recommend this one for point and click adventure enjoyers.
