Karen: An Outrage Simulator

To say I was expecting half of the stuff that happened in this game would be a lie. I streamed this to a friend and at times we both had our sides aching from laughing (probably not helped by some glorious awful voice acting by the one and only me) as I was reading the lines to my mate. The dialogue was very tongue in cheek and there were some moments that were built up for a great punchline and the ending level of the game was a complete surprise to me given what I had been doing up until that moment. But once you did a couple of the levels you come to know what to expect in terms of the gameplay as they all followed the same path, and sometimes completing the level would become a bit of a chore as if you fail it you are flung all the way to the start with little to no skipping (unless I have missed it). And sometimes it wasnt obvious how each choice would affect the stats as you can easily read it one way, the character starts off like you expect then a curve ball is thrown and when that choice is why you have to restart the whole level. Would I recommend it though? Yeah as it was a short experience that me and the mate still reference moments to each other months after playing it and feel experiencing it with a friend and voicing the characters and seeing some of the insanity of the game unfold made me feel that it was time well spent.
