About
Jump Space (formerly Jump Ship) is a mission based co-op PvE for up to 4 players, where you are the crew of a spaceship. Transition seamlessly from crewing the ship to on-foot exploration and space walks. Engage in intense battles both on the ground and in space, and always keep your ship upgraded and intact. Teamwork is key for survival and victory.
We love co-op games, and we love space. Jump Space is our attempt to make both work together.
Jump across the universe - Select from a variety of hand-crafted missions with random elements. No two runs are ever the same.
Seamlessly go on and off ship - Once you’ve jumped with your ship, you can switch seamlessly between operating your ship, space walking and on-foot planetary exploration, it just works.
Upgrade, maintain, repair - Manage your ship as you scavenge for parts to upgrade or repair it, and adapt it to fit your needs. Bolster your arsenal of guns and components with tons of modifiers.
Fly with a crew, or go solo - Jump Space is best enjoyed with friends, but solo adventurers are welcome too.
Upgrade and customise your ship and guns as you face off against the challenges of space exploration, and scavenge resources to ensure your survival. Reinforce your defences, adjust your energy output for speed or bolster your ship’s attack capabilities - the choice is yours.
Experience fluid gameplay as you switch from steering your ship out of an asteroid field to jetpacking towards an enemy vessel to sabotage its core. Seamlessly transition between exploration, combat and traversal.
Go on missions with your friends and take on roles, from piloting to engineering and field exploration. Work together to overcome enemy attacks, extinguish fires on the command deck or adjust your ship’s power grid on the fly. There are no set classes in Jump Space, improvise and decide how you want to engage.

It's fantastic, get it
It's a fun game with friends, worth playing, performs well on my specs for the most part. You crew a spaceship and jump between different self-contained arenas, completing different tasks depending on whichever map you loaded into. Some are ship-to-ship combat, some are on-foot combat, some have other objectives like pressing buttons, carrying objects, holding control points etc. The ships vary in size, once you unlock them all you can pick the one best suited to your group's size. Some ships are too big to manage with fewer people mostly because each role becomes more specialized rather than there being more workload. You usually need at least a pilot, gunner and someone to run around putting out fires and other tasks For example the smallest ship gives the pilot the ability to fly the ship (duh) but also gives two pilot weapons so they can shoot stuff pretty well, then there's a roof-mounted turret that someone else can operate. 2 people can run this ship fine because the pilot can fight ships quite effectively while the gunner gets off the turret to put out fires if needed. The medium (default) ship gets one pilot gun but 2 roof mounted special weapons and a 360 degree turret system that can be used by a dedicated gunner, the gunner does more fighting than the pilot now, and neither has time to get off and put out fires so you need at least 3 people to run this ship. The largest ship has two gunner stations with limited line of sight on each, and the pilot has no weapons, and it's annoyingly big so you spend a lot of time running around, I don't know how many people would be needed to run this ship effectively or if there's any real reason to use it. You can acquire ship upgrades and new handheld weapons on missions, you save them by scanning them and saving them into slots tied to your character, which then allows you to fabricate them or fit them to your ship. You spend different colored ingot/token things to upgrade both handheld guns and ship components, and these things also have intrinsic levels and unique perks when you find them. Meaning you can save and upgrade one version of a ship's engine for example, but then find a better version of that same engine. If you want to use it you can't transfer any upgrades over from the old version, so you basically have to throw it and any ingots spent on it away and replace it with a version that has a higher upgrade ceiling or better bonuses, but no actual upgrades. Thus the upgrade economy tends to be bottlenecked at the low end, because everything initially needs the low-end ingots to upgrade and its much less likely that you'll need the high-end ones. I have hundreds of the higher-level purple orange and red ingots, and I can't spend them on anything because I have no greens or blues. Also requiring the same resources to upgrade ship components vs on-foot weapons is a slight problem. If you're the host of your games you probably want to upgrade your ship, if you're a passenger princess then you can just upgrade your hand-held weapons. My group tends to find the ship-to-ship engagements rather easy, we have a superior mining laser muli-turret which does 2000 dps and basically vaporizes groups of enemies, but then we have to get out of the ship and fight drones on foot and the hand-held weapons are very ammo hungry and rather lacking in stopping power, and some enemies like sniper or rocket drones will just wreck you, and since the enemies are all just floating black boxes with red lights on them, often in an environment with black walls full of red lights... it's not super easy to identify priority targets at a glance. Still, it's early access, and hopefully issues get addressed. But it's a good game if you have a group to play with. I've never tried playing with randos, but I never do with these types of games.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Solid space experience, something new well implemented
Llevo pocas horas pero he jugado a bastantes juegos coop y he de decir que este juego vale mucho la pena. Incluso solo es genial!
Fans of the roguelite genre will find a lot to love about this game. It reminds me of Deep Rock Galactic in a lot of ways, and that is far from a bad thing. Pros: + Very fun. + Quality voice acting. + Great music. + Ship combat combined with on-foot mission objectives make for a potent combination. + Doesn't take itself too seriously while not feeling campy or like a parody of itself. + Weapons each feel like they serve a very specific niche/playstyle. + Interesting lore involving an ancient civilization and a rogue AI core that's on your side for a change. + Combat feels good. + The aforementioned space combat feels responsive. + A few ships with dedicated purposes/playstyles for your missions. + Unlockable cosmetics. + Interesting ship part system. Cons: - Performance issues. - Some enemies feel unfair or are just not fun to fight against, and even the weaker enemies feel like bullet sponges on higher difficulties. This has been remedied somewhat by the introduction of a weapon upgrade system to allow you to amp your damage that way where such a system did not exist before. - Some relics feel borderline useless. - Some objectives feel like a slog to do. Summary: Overall I would give this game a strong recommend. It's not a hard choice to make. The game plays great, looks great, is bucket loads of fun, and has a fair bit of replay value. It's relatively early in its development cycle and the devs have already made some critical quality of life changes and some heavy content updates. Give it a try. Final Score: 4.5/5
To infinity, and beyond.
This game has the potential to be one of the best multiplayer experiences of all time. My only real complaint is movement on the ground. I hope it ends up more like Titanfall 2 movement and I think that's the direction they're heading. Everything else is kinda awesome. As long as they keep building new stuff into it that improves the replay value, and they get those core mechanics and game loop aspects ironed out... Yeah. Just so much fun. Its just fun. Games are fun again, guys. We made it
This is the most fun game ive played with friends in the past 2 years, its even great solo
