Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
JDM: Japanese Drift Master is an homage to Japan, Japanese street racing culture and drift. It’s an open world, story-driven experience, blending Tōge (mountainous) serpentines, with narrow rural roads and vast highways leading to a modern cityscape. With licensed cars and robust tuning options it’s a drifting paradise come true!

Driving Models
Designed primarily for gamepads, JDM boasts two driving models to choose from: Arcade, suited for a more relaxed experience and drift beginners; and Simcade in which all assists are off, trading full control over the car for more skill requirements to manage drifting. Players can switch between both models at any time during the game.
Open World
Soak in the atmosphere of Japan with the fictional prefecture of Guntama, created through mixing real-life locations from all over the country. With over 250 km of visually stunning main roads, standalone racing tracks and instanced events, set across winding mountain passes, rural areas and the city's bustling streets, you’ll explore diverse landscapes featuring traffic, dynamic weather, and day-night cycle systems.
Licensed Cars
Sit behind the wheel of legendary Nissan, Honda, Subaru and Mazda cars. Tune them mechanically with new parts and then fine tune the details. Experiment with visual parts: from hoods, through lights to full body kit swaps. Adjust the suspension, wheel camber, gear ratios and more. Finally, paint the car however you like using a free pick color palette. You want underglow? It’s at your disposal as well.
Story-driven Campaign
Step into the shoes of a foreigner determined to make his mark on the Japanese drifting scene. Compete in 40+ narrative-driven events and additional sidequests against the top drifters in the area. Experience this journey through hand-drawn manga pages, which add a unique and artistic touch to the game.
The Audio Purr
Experience authentic car sounds, captured through original recordings and brought to life with attention to detail, making you feel like you're truly behind the wheel. Cruise along picturesque roads while tuning in to genre-themed radio stations, including unique soundscapes of J-music, Phonk and even Eurobeat - choose the perfect soundtrack for your drive!
Multiplayer
Explore the prefecture of Guntama with up to 8 players in a lobby. Cruise together, organize car meets, or compete in multiplayer drift battles, grip races, and 1v1 touge challenges across the open world.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Japanese Refund Meister
Molto valido, curato e ben ambientato
Gioco sicuramente valido a chi piace il genere. Piccoli bug ancora presenti, ma è giocabile. Molto dettagliato e ben curato. Alcune sfide anche giocando a medio sono abbastanza toste. Quello che ancora non ho capito, è l'utilità di mettere alcuni guardrail fissi, che se ci sbatti fai doppia data.
Jdm is a high recommend for all the fans of Japanese drifting culture. It offers fun drifting mechanics, a good story presented in manga panels and a banging soundtrack with Eurobeat and everything you need to feel like you're in an Initial D episode. Every car feels different and it was fun to try different cars during my playthrough. I think I got lost in this game and I had to take some time off the main story to just drive around the open world. I found it just so chill viewing beautiful scenery while drifting around and having the eurobeat banging in my ears. At the moment of writing this they even added multiplayer and they have more to come later, though I myself prefer playing alone. There is more good on this than bad, but if one annoying thing must be said, there were some glitches that tried to ruin my playing experience. If you like drifting then you found the best game for you.
idk what to say, but it's good so 10/10

I've played the demo of this game long ago, probably a year before it was released. I've waited to buy because I knew I woudn't have time to play for a while, but with a recent discount I thought I'd give it a try. Here we are two years after the demo I played, and this game is MUCH more of a piece of crap than it was a year before even being released. When booting the game, it displays the wrong controller, telling me I have an X-Box controller (which is right), but then it displays PlayStation controller buttons. So it tells me to press X when it means A, O when it means B and so on. Very confusing, especially considsering I haven't touched a PS controller in like 25 years. I thought I'd file a bug report. It opens a webpage to fill the report, so I exit the game from the main menu to avoid wasting game time just in case I need to refund. As you'll see, it was a very good idea, but the game didn't agree with it. I file in the details, and the form asks for revision version (required). So I need to launch the game to check it. But I can't, because filing this report counts as game time, even though the game is closed. But Steam counts it running, so I can't launch it either. Can't even kill the game in task manager because it is indeed closed, but STeam doesn't know it because that bug report web page counts as game anyway ! Only thing I could do was to close the bug report page without sending it because of the missing information, after spending some time providing details, and NOW Steam knows the game is closed and will let me launch it again. Allright, no bug report then. I'm already 20 minutes in according to Steam and the only thing I did was lower the music, and TRY to set up the controller. None of that crap existed in the demo. Back into the game, my controller setup wasn't saved. But when I redid it, it saved it as "custom preset number 2", so it did save the first, but didn't keep it applied. Left the game again, returned to the game, and I'm yet again back to the default setting. Half an hour in and I can't even play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial because this game is bugged to hell and back. Allright, I'm pissed and calling it a day, I'll just see about that later. No point continuing that tutorial race with botched controls anyway. Except... Can't use the buttons to leave the game. Start button doesn't do anything. To be fair I didn't even think about using Escape on the keyboard, if I'm playing with a controller, I expect to have full control with it. So, all I could do was Alt + F4. Screw that, I'm refunding. This game makes Dakar Desert Rally feel like a premium game, and that's saying something.
