Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Aug 29 → 9.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the amazing music. Gameplay itself is not without flaw but I still recommend to fans of space and sci-fi.
I love the presentation. The music is great and the models and cutscenes are inspired and high quality. But the gameplay sucks. Too many annoying bugs and micromanaging your recourses is an enormous hassle. As soon as you unlock the 2nd sector it becomes so difficult to do the most basic construction and management tasks. Overall there is a severe lack of tutorialisiation and onboarding. Simple systems like transferring population and recourses between sectors take too many actions to interact with. I ended up in Chapter 2 flailing around encountering constant fail states and having no idea what I was doing wrong or how to fix them even though I had plenty of recourses and all my production buildings looked like they were functioning. Something was obviously going wrong in my supply chain but I had no way to tell what it was. I flagged this lack of guidance during the beta in my feedback to the dev team but my concerns were not actioned, to the game's detriment. It's disappointing to see an otherwise promising game flop because of poor execution.

Sadly I regret purchasing this game. When it first released it had poor ratings and since it shows positive I had assumed it had been fixed. Well, it hasn't and my dislikes are exactly the same as the complaints when it was released. A ridiculous amount of failures and accidents make this almost impossible to manage. The game is a micromanagement hell. The ship has a constant hull failure that you have to manage constantly spending valuable resources. Constant accidents and deaths. Edit I have found a few mods that make this more enjoyable. I will leave as not recommend because the base game is still unacceptable. The whole thing is so absurd that I can't even begin to believe these idiots could even manage to build such a ship to go to space. I would avoid and spend your money elsewhere,,,you'll probably enjoy something else much more.
I'm on the fence. (tldr: 6/10) Good polish, good concept, good drama even, beautiful, I love space games like this. My only gripe so far is this: the game seems designed to force you to make choices on your first playthrough that will only reveal themselves to be suboptimal much later. And with finite resources and time, this form of difficulty feels artificial. For players like me who can't accept undeserved subpar outcomes, it becomes die and retry. (or rage, give up and reload a save 1 hour in the past)

Okay OSTs are in almost every game now, great soundtracks are few and far between, and the truly amazing ones you can count on the fingers of both hands. I think the OST for Ixion is one of the latter. It's mesmerizing, truly beautiful, and I believe the OST of Ixion transcends its medium. And I mean that literally: buy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ soundtrack and play it instead of the game, for all I care. The stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ music tells the story no less vividly, no less emotionally than the game itself. It captures everything the game's story tries to convey: the dread, the hope, the terror, and the loneliness of the vast void that is space. It might even be the best Sci-Fi OST for me. But I'll put that aside for now and talk about the game, because there is something to be said: 1. The text is great, it really is. I was always reading every pop-up and mission report, as they are an amazing read and truly worth your time. I wouldn't say it's Disco Elysium level, but it's still very good. 2. The story, on the other hand... well, it's kinda good at the start, but then, as the game progresses, you accumulate many questions that will be left unanswered: What happened between the UN and the BMS? How did THEY end up on THAT PLANET YOU KNOW I'M TALKING ABOUT? There are a lot of plot holes and questions that SHOULD have been answered, but they are left hanging, and the ending feels kind of rushed because of that. 3. And the gameplay... ehh... I don't know, to be honest. I immediately recognized the game as being This War of Mine/Frostpunk-slop type of game, then watched a few YouTube videos covering tips and immediately proceeded to study the meta-game on Reddit. Following that, I didn't have any problems in-game, and it was smooth sailing throughout. While I think this type of approach may be detrimental to the game, I don't mind it as long as I don't have to deal with reloading previous saves and redoing planning because of something I couldn't have predicted. Besides my aversion to this method of learning a game through failure, the gameplay foundation is solid. "Surviving" was engaging to me, and the resource limits put me in a few slippery situations throughout the game that were kinda fun to manage. But, having read the reviews, I think I was right to handle the game "my own way," rather than naturally stumbling down a path toward unfixable mistakes. In that regard, the game really is a Frostpunk successor, so be wary. (Also, the difficulty in the game is VERY flexible, you can fine-tune almost anything to your liking and I appreciate it) In the end Ixion is an overall strong package: a decent city-building survival game that truly shines in its sound and writing (specifically text) departments.
At first, it's a really nice game, only it gets quite repetitive in the 3rd chapter. I guess there's no new game mechanic to be expected in the last two chapters. But what really destroyed it for me is some fundamental flaws of the resource handling. Some task got stuck in a stockpile from an already finished building, and it kept being transferred to other stockpiles. I tried everything to get rid of it, only deleting all stockpiles in the sector wasn't possible because the affected stockpile was alloys in my industry sector, What an annoying bug. You can already tell that the resource system is flawed when the only way you can start to open a new sector is to get some buildings for free without the usual building process.
Was cool until the game bugged out right at the end making it impossible to finish. Blue balls of death. Cannot recommend as it hurts to not be able to finish. Loaded previous saves and just ended up being a waste of time. Waste of time and waste of money.
