Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Start your career in IT and face problems inspired by the real work of a technical department. Take tickets, diagnose faults, and search for their causes on your own.
The game won't always tell you exactly what to do. Read the documentation, analyze the configuration, check the logs, and use available tools. Sometimes the solution will take just a few clicks; other times it will require the right command in the terminal.
Think like an IT specialist.

Work with an extensive, simulated IT infrastructure. Configure computers, servers, routers, switches, access points, printers, and other devices.
Resolve issues related to the network, TCP/IP, system, drivers, hardware, users, permissions, Wi-Fi, BIOS, or software.
Use CMD and PowerShell, test connections, check configuration, and find the source of the problem instead of looking for a ready-made "Fix" button.

Your responsibilities do not end with user computers.
Configure IP addressing, gateways, DNS, routers, switches, and access points. Manage servers and an environment inspired by Active Directory — users, groups, computers, and permissions.
Devices operate within a shared infrastructure so that a single mistake can affect the entire network.

Develop your career towards programming as well. Write and run real code directly inside the IT Specialist Simulator environment.
Learn and utilize Python, Flask, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and Git. Create scripts, websites, and web applications, work with databases, and launch your own projects in a simulated network.
Write code. Test. Make mistakes. Fix them.

IT Specialist Simulator is not about playing a series of identical mini-games. You receive a ticket, tools, and access to the infrastructure — you must find the way to solve the problem yourself.
From a simple computer issue to corporate network configuration and server administration, and even creating your own applications.
Solve tickets. Gain experience. Develop skills. Become an IT specialist.

EDIT: Sorry about the below review. I am pregnant and was very frustrated but after the developer very nicely explained what I was missing I was able to enjoy this game a ton. Thank you PolishFrog for your kindness and explanation. Hormones are no joke. This game might be great for someone in the IT field who is familiar with these tasks, but for someone who just wanted to play a simulation game, it is not good. The tutorial goes over a couple of things then you are on your own. There is basically no help other than a built in forum that helps with very few of the tasks. It's frustrating to not even be able to learn how to do the tasks so that you can do them in the future. I wanted to be able to learn from this game and appreciate being an IT person but I was just frustrated by the lack of help once you finish the tutorial. Hopefully this gets better once the game is out of early access but for now I cannot recommend it as a simulation game for most groups of people.
Finish work at my IRL IT job, come home to unwind playing IT Specialist Sim 10/10

I'm having a lot of fun! From the POV of a sysadmin, it's reminiscent of work while at the same time so much easier in that the errors are not as random in cause. i.e there's no weird updates that break random machines or manufacturer issues that come from niche google results, but that stress I would prefer to leave for the real life version haha The solutions are very straightforward there may be a bug here or there that might stop a ticket from being completed or get stuck for a day or two, but that's part of Early Access, reporting is simple and gives every chance to submit info. Most of my bugs I came back and tried again, it suddenly worked Ex. DHCP Change Ping Quest Bug There are enough tasks and features to get into at the moment to keep you busy especially if you are seeing this on sale. I think the future of the game will be great! At the time of writing a little over a year to release so hopefully we see lots more! They also have an easy survey button so tech nerds alike share your favorite tickets!
there is a really anoying bug, i get stuck in the scaning tv tutotrial, i already scaning the channel but the tutorial doesnt detect, so i cant continue to next task
play for an hour and you've pretty much done everything
El juego es para pensadores y analistas de problemas. No esperes entrar si eres de los que le gusta obtener todo fácil.
I work in IT I bought this and then started to play A user sent me an email to change its wallpaper and color theme, i had to make sure it would match the colors of the wallpaper cause the user wouldnt accept a mismatch of colors It made me angry just like in real life 10/10 realism This is a real simulator
