i'm still early on (just beat the 2nd dungeon) but i can tell this game's going to be an all timer. credentials: im one of those freaks who love the oracle games and when the claw launcher shot out and it played that sound effect i knew the dev was a real one. i hope this game sells a million copies
So I havent finished the game yet, not even close tbh, but I can't recommend this game enough. I honestly think this game is as close to Link's Awakening and the Oracle games as any game i've played for as long as I can remember. And similar not that it's derivative, because I think it does more than enough to be its own thing, but similar in the feeling I got playing those games as a kid. Once again, and indie dev who NEEDS to keep making games because they know what they're doing 100%

A very good, puzzle focused Zelda game. Wandering around the island was great fun, as was finding many hidden goodies. I enjoyed the tool kit assembled by the end of the game. There's some real headscratcher puzzles, including the bosses. Usually when I was stuck, the answer was either realizing something I could do or going back to grab an item via the copy ability. The boss design is very interesting because they're all puzzles and none of the bosses take long once you've figured them out. A few of the end collectable rewards were a bit underwhelming, but what can ya do? Trying to puzzle out what I could have missed to get "The Perfect Ending", but for the moment I am satiated. Thanks for making this video game. *edit* found the one dang cave i was missing to get the perfect ending
我想说本作是2026第一类塞,谁同意谁反对?
Kickstarter backer here. It's been a treat to watch this game develop from the original demo to the multiple playtests, to see the final product. A true love letter to Link's Awakening, with a lot of unique flair and game mechanics that set it apart. Check it out if you're looking for a classic dungeon crawler experience that would be at home on the Gameboy Color.
I really wanted to like this but it has terrible jumping with no leeway and just awful hitboxes on everything from enemies to items in the world, in the end it just seems like echoes of wisdom crap edition
really well made if you like old zelda or games you need to try it.
Good Zeldalike. Puzzles and dungeons were actually challenging and fun. Bosses were tad too easy besides damage. The damage in late-game was bit too much, not sure if there was an upgrade that reduce damage as I never found it and finished the game.
Tremendously enjoyable. Some of the dungeon puzzles require quite a bit of thought, but this is fun and evocative of the GB Zeldas while maintaining it's own thoughts, ideas, and updated quality of life things. Good stuff. Also, perhaps controversially, I think this tackles what Echoes of Wisdom was trying to do much better.
After 21 hours and a 100% completion it's time to give a review of what i consider one of the best old school zelda-like games out there. If i had to summarize : Game is great, soundtrack is amazing, puzzles can be challenging, don't get thrown off by the "linear" nature of the beginning. There is some criticism however. While exploration is a main focus it can feel overwhelming at first, especially since the map gives very limited info. A way to mark specific squares ourselves or an icon for certain things like the petals or soil would be appreciated. The multiplayer minigame is also a bit finnicky, and enemies deal way too much damage in later dungeons. Other than that i had a blast playing through the game. That moment it finally clicks and you solve a puzzle you've been stuck on for 20 minutes, the sense of progress when you suddenly figure out what the next step for a quest is, these things never gets old.
