Reviews
It's good but I wish it had more content. It plays like Darkest Dungeon. There is a strategic element that you will probably enjoy at higher difficulties. B+ game that needs a little more oomph. DLC would be welcome.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

帅!
bueno juego corto pero dificil
After completing the run that they start you out on with the tutorial, i'm a little conflicted. obviously it's very similar to darkest dungeon, but it lacks some of the same depth. you can't choose builds really, so much as just positions people are in for different moves. in place of that, there is a magic system you can use to do various things, so i don't think it is that much of a drawback, but it's certainly not what i expected. the voice over isn't bad, by any means, but i do wish it didn't go off after basically every single action you take. the difficulty for the first run is called cakewalk, and it sure was one. i lost a single unit to a sudden burst from the dhampir i couldn't have seen coming, but otherwise it was fairly easy. hopefully that means they have a good grasp on balance, but i'm not gonna continue playing to see. very cool ideas and concepts, weighed down a bit by the execution. i bought this at a deep, deep discount. like 75% off for everything, so i'm fine with that pricepoint, but i would be giving this a not recommended outside of a sale. make sure that's when you get it if you're unsure, too.

Nice visuals, ok music and interesting concept and mechanics. It gets very tedious very fast however and the game is way too long imo. It definitely overstays it's welcome. It should be at least twice shorter or with a better progression and a less repetitive gameplay. Since I never played a Darkest Dungeon like before I thought starting on cakewalk (easy mode) would be a good idea as I was sure to like the fact that I could lose a several hour long run on RNG. But the game seems actually quite good at giving you the tools to be able to rebuild in case of failure. I guess that is because in cakewalk I literaly never had a minion die in my 10h long run and I kinda used the exact same layout and sequence of attacks for pretty much 70% of the game because it worked real well (two Dark knight at the back (using their abilities you can bring them upfront quickly) followed by an archer and a werewolf). I found most of the new minions pretty lame which is a shame because it diminishes even more the already lacking feeling of progression. I did not find the graveyard mechanic very interesting and halfway through the game I pretty much never went there anymore except to upgrade stuff. You end up amassing A LOT of ressources. At least in cakewalk. Overall it was however sort of enjoyable and if you like darkest dungeon like maybe it is for you. Since I haven't played darkest dungeon I can't really compare and I don't know if it suffers some of the same problems as this game did. It was fun enough for me to finish it while doing something else but my feelings are very mixed. However I don't think it is a bad game in of itself so don't take my word for it and do try it out yourself if it appeals to you. It's often on sale and will probably be fun for the first few hours at least. It seems there is an elite mechanic on higher difficulties that might make the gameplay or at least strategy a little more interesting. Tho I sort of doubt it because whatever the floor, whatever the ennemies, my starting strategy always ended up working. I don't want to invest more of my time into the game doing it at a higher difficulty for now but I'll update the review if I do.
