About

While Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo D.C., she knows it's time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.
Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There's no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.
Shelly's crusade to take down Heskel's army will see her leave destruction in her wake with a wide arsenal of weapons, complete with alternate fire modes and different ammo types. Her signature revolver, the tri-barreled Loverboy, brings enemies pain and players pleasure with both single shots and Old West-style hammer fanning action. Who needs a regular shotgun when you can load buckshot into your grenade launcher? Violent, over-the-top Bowling Bombs rip enemies apart with ease.
Ion Fury laughs at the idea of mandatory checkpoints and straight paths through shooting galleries. But, just because this is a true old-school first-person shooter doesn't mean we've ignored all the good new stuff the last two decades have brought. Headshots? Hell yeah. More physics and interactivity? You betcha. Widescreen, controller support, and auto saves? 3D Realms and Voidpoint have taken the best of both worlds and cooked it all into a bloody stew.

A fantastic throwback that runs smooth and plays great. It's a fast paced key grabbing boomer shooter that's definitely worth grabbing on sale.
One of the best boomer shooters in the market.
Very solid games with the Add-on (base game + expansion). I would recommend playing the "remixed version" of the game available when buying the add-on ratherr than the original campaigns. It improves and fixes all the flaws of the original game (lack of enemy variety, no "ultimate" weapon, reworked segments of levels so that they feel less of a chore to complete, added new boss fights). So both the remixed version of the original campaign and it's add-on Aftershock are very solid and a must-buy for all the fans of Build shooters. Levels with the bike are very easy and short, don't be fooled by people complaining about them. The only flaw I would see in these games is that it still lacks a bit of enemy variety (more mutants, experiments and failures). More "original" monsters and not just reskins. They even advertise monsters that are cut in the final game (why not having included them ?)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Awesome throwback, absolutely gorgeous and great playing retro shooter. On a technical level what they have a achieved here with the OG 90s build engine is incredible, but more importantly gameplay-wise its also up there with the greats of yesteryear. interesting guns with useful alt fire modes, The gun play is great , and it all sounds great too. level design is a bit sprawling, possibly a bit toooo 90s in that respect haha, but there's tons of secrets to reward exploration, and there is lots of variety in the settings. Some of the arena sections are a bit frantic and will make you mash the quicksave (remember quicksaves??? ahhh bliss) and the last boss is a bit of let down but the journey is worth is every penny regardless.
An absolute blast for 27.99
good stuff
A very fun 3dRealm shooter. Has a few issues though for me. Mainly some of the zones just suck compared to others. Zone 3 is the highlight of the base game. Really enjoy all the weapons and the gun play is more fluid than one would expect. Enemy variety leaves a lot to be desired though. It is a very competent boomer shooter but not the best of this recent wave of them. Would put Dusk above it. This is a pretty solid 7/10 though. The expansion is worth getting as well though 15 levels are stretching it a bit when 3 of those levels are part of a race and go by in 5 minutes.
I loved the original Duke Nukem 3D and cyberpunk genre so had to try this. I hadn't played Duke Nukem 3D in a long time when I first started playing this so was comparing it to my memory of that. It felt very faithful and a natural progression, like Duke Nukem in a different settings. It's satirical like Duke Nukem too, although a little less so, and it does it well and doesn't feel forced like DNF does. The levels are really detailed and the game has good enemy variety - introducing new enemy types and weapons as it goes. Unlike the original Duke Nukem the level are more like Half Life where the levels are still instanced but contiguous. Which feels a lot better. The game starts in an overly cyberpunk city in some kind of bar - it looks amazing and drew me in immediately. However, as the game goes on I feel like it starts to drift a bit and feel less inspired with the look of levels. I played on the hardest difficulty (disregarding expansion difficulties) and didn't realize you could quick save for half the game. So the first half was a little frustrating and took many retries to get through some levels. The bosses were fun and interesting however could be easy to cheese (almost all bosses were easily killable using the crossbow like weapons alt fire). I actually went back and played a bit of DN3D and didn't realize how many gameplay elements from that extended to Ion Fury. The many use of vents, the keycards and even more. I found out the developers were the same team that build the open source version of the DN3D engine so it makes sense this game was so faithful and still felt like Duke Nukem. A great game that I kept wanting to come back too, I really hope they add co op as I loved playing Co op in DN3D.
the next best thing to Duke Nukem 3D, aswell as being a kickass Shooter to just play and enjoy!
Was pretty fun. Nice variety of weapons. I got lost several times but I am not a boomer shooter expert so kind of expected.
