About

While Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo D.C., she knows it's time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.
Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There's no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.
Shelly's crusade to take down Heskel's army will see her leave destruction in her wake with a wide arsenal of weapons, complete with alternate fire modes and different ammo types. Her signature revolver, the tri-barreled Loverboy, brings enemies pain and players pleasure with both single shots and Old West-style hammer fanning action. Who needs a regular shotgun when you can load buckshot into your grenade launcher? Violent, over-the-top Bowling Bombs rip enemies apart with ease.
Ion Fury laughs at the idea of mandatory checkpoints and straight paths through shooting galleries. But, just because this is a true old-school first-person shooter doesn't mean we've ignored all the good new stuff the last two decades have brought. Headshots? Hell yeah. More physics and interactivity? You betcha. Widescreen, controller support, and auto saves? 3D Realms and Voidpoint have taken the best of both worlds and cooked it all into a bloody stew.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Thoroughly enjoyed the game, I have no real complaints that I can really think of. If you're a fan of fast paced fps, you'll enjoy it
Build Engine goodness with new ideas and old standards. Felt great the whole time, no complaints. If you like run gun fun this is a top tier pick
Amazing that this was made in Build. What a send off to a truly legendary engine. Please play this as fast as you possibly can.
Probably my favorite throwback boomer shooter
Excellent boomer shooter! Take your time to explore like with Duke Nukem 3D and you will have a blast!
All doors are locked.
Foreword: I really hate that Iron Maiden sued to get the name of this game changed. The game stars a futuristic tough valkyrie, She deserves to be addressed as such. (Full review forthcoming later) The short: It's fun, ramps up in difficulty quickly, some levels are a breeze, some are really difficult. Shelly Harrison is as tough as Duke. Maybe tougher. The starter pistol, Loverboy (the references and memes never stop) is arguably the best gun in the game. It's one of those guns that if I owned a collection of video game guns to help me save the world, Loverboy would be in there. The one-liners are ok. She's sassy, without being annoying or overly offensive. She's a professional, afterall. But a valkyrie's work is never done. It's time to choose which of the gym-wipes on the map need to die today. There's too many secrets! Lots of guns. I loved the wholesome easter eggs alot. SOmetimes, the familes of the devs are just as important as the things they love, because afterall, the game is a labor of love, showcasing all the people and things that inspire them to make awesome stuff. This game can stand up to games like Far Cry: Blood Dragon, POUND FOR POUND. Does it have something to do with the developers/publishers? Yes and no. This is not the case of "Ion Fury is almost as good" this is a case of "Ion Fury -IS- good, and Blood Dragon, in spite of its style and music, is still published by a company looking to control gamers' libraries. Ion Fury won't. it will always be there, available for single player play. and there's so much replayability too. I'm already halfway through the game and this is a total blast (I told you, the puns and jokes never stop!)
