About

While Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo D.C., she knows it's time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.
Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There's no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.
Shelly's crusade to take down Heskel's army will see her leave destruction in her wake with a wide arsenal of weapons, complete with alternate fire modes and different ammo types. Her signature revolver, the tri-barreled Loverboy, brings enemies pain and players pleasure with both single shots and Old West-style hammer fanning action. Who needs a regular shotgun when you can load buckshot into your grenade launcher? Violent, over-the-top Bowling Bombs rip enemies apart with ease.
Ion Fury laughs at the idea of mandatory checkpoints and straight paths through shooting galleries. But, just because this is a true old-school first-person shooter doesn't mean we've ignored all the good new stuff the last two decades have brought. Headshots? Hell yeah. More physics and interactivity? You betcha. Widescreen, controller support, and auto saves? 3D Realms and Voidpoint have taken the best of both worlds and cooked it all into a bloody stew.

Already own Ion Fury? Pick up Ion Fury: Aftershock for a full second campaign plus Arrange Mode, a mirror-world remix of the original campaign that integrates Aftershock’s new enemies, items, and weapons while reworking map progression, item placement, and enemy encounters.

gameplay is great and the story is fun. really pulled me in for a few hours. There were some points where I thought it was too hard, but it turned out that I was just not really paying enough attention and was trying to move too fast. Default movement speed seems pretty high even though this game has you taking cover a lot, and requires more precise movement in some rare areas. It's easy to forget you can hold the shift key to slow down when needed. It's not like doom where you run laps and shoot everything you see. But it's a lot of fun in its own way. Ammo is plentiful in the 2nd highest difficulty, which is what I beat it on. There were some points where I was running kinda dry but you have so many weapons that it doesn't matter too much. Towards the end it gives you more ammo than you can carry. [strike]it was so fun that Im gonna re-play it on the hardest difficulty. maybe I'll update the review if I have more to say after.[/strike] nvm too hard lmao.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

best FPS i've ever played
Awesome classic FPS style. If you've ever wanted more Duke Nukem or Blood, this is the one to play next!
It dont feel so good, me no likey
I had fun playing this, and this is my first time at the 3D realms party.
It's a build engine game that's not nearly as frustrating as the original build engine games. Good stuff. 7/10
Domo arigato mr roboto
As good as the base game + some driving sections which are quite good.
Great game, really good nostalgia and puzzles. Not much replayability, but one full playthrough is still 4+ hours.
An excellent, excellent game. It's very old school, from the blood of its often difficult, stage-by-stage, to it's Build Engine bones. Maybe you were specifically looking for a Boomer shooter, maybe you just wanted an FPS retro or not, or maybe you just stumbled here, but if this game looks like it might be your chilled bottle of god awful liquor, it probably will be. Pros include a diverse armament of weapons, a plethora of old-school secrets to find, a ton of power-ups, and an excellent DLC campaign. It's hard for me to recommend it any more; it's not perfect, but if I told you it was, I wouldn't really feel like I was lying.
