Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

my friend used to work for Shiny Shoe. they got fired shortly before Inkbound was abandoned. they suspect it was due to downsizing, but the excuse their boss used was, I ♥♥♥♥ you not, "asking for more work to do." what an abysmal work environment. yeah good luck making more games when you treat your employees like this!
It's pretty fun, I guess. Ass part is this game is dead as hell because they quietly dropped development. No new content, ever, and the current one is already old as stale bread. RIP.

This game is something i hold close to my heart. Its such a fun and coop rougelike game to play. There is alot of variations in this allowing for a multitude of different runs and play styles. However for anyone who is looking at purchasing this game please know that this is something designed as a live service game, requiring consistent updates, releases of new content and so much more sadly however the Devs have announced that hey are abandoning it. Thats right, no more additions to this game. it will stay as this forever. and to some extent thats okay its a great game, and id almost say worth that 30$ bucks however, every time i go on to play i will see sections where content is clearly designed to be but know nothing will ever come. For when you select your characters class you will see an entire pages worth of circles that are blank, empty spaces where content should be. What truly saddens me is that this game has a following and constant dedicated players who enjoy this game. I can not recommend a game that devs would abandon less that a year from the games initial release. only to work on another new game based off another of their titles (monster train). This game had promise and now its just another dead game in my library
Wish I could recommend this. Its a decent game, however it got abandoned too early. What could have been a fun tactical roguelite now fails to deliver longterm motivation.
unironically a great game, but why is this abandoned? If this was still receiving updates and maintenances it would have been one of the coop rougelites of all time. now it just feels lackluster in more ways than one.
First of all I want to lead with the fact that Inkbound is a roguelite in a weird spot. The closest comparison I can honestly make is the two Hades games, because Inkbound has a surprising amount of story in addition to its turn based position based combat. The story is delivered with some genuinely really great voice acting and you can really see the love that everyone who worked on this game put in. So what about gameplay? Inkbound offers you a selection of classes, each of which supply you with three basic abilities and a passive skill. Over the course of the run you will upgrade these abilities in smaller and larger ways and find some generic skills that each class can acquire. Add to that an item system where you basically have a small inventory of things that have passive abilities but are also each part of a set or family, like physical attack or improving the currency (Kwillings). Quite a lot to consider! In combat you will move around your character to position them so you can line up your attacks and ideally evade those aimed at you. You have a limited amount of energy to use your abilities so more often than not each individual turn is its own little puzzle. You move from combat to non-combat encounters until you end up in a boss fight. Beat them to go to the next region. Each run consists of two regular regions and one very short boss region, so said runs don't overstay their welcome. With all that said, I would recommend Inkbound to everybody who likes tactical combat with a focus on positioning, but also those who enjoy roguelites who do something else than deckbuilding, isometric action or the bullet heaven style.
This game is a completely solid, fleshed out and expansive experience and is a complete product. The devs announced the game was “done” and for some reason people are saying that means it’s “abandoned” ??? Is Nintendo putting out updates to super mario bros on the NES ? Extreme example but same principle… why must a dev support a game for the rest of eternity. The game is not unfinished, it does not feel unfinished, and it does not feel like it’s missing anything. There is plenty to unlock. It does not feel buggy, it does not crash. It’s a great game
Devs cashed out to work on other projects its not being updated
I really liked this game till I got hit with game breaking bugs just to find out the devs no longer support this game. Seriously what devs won't even fix basic bugs every now and then.... Can't even progress the story, 20 hours down the drain.
Amazing game, truly. Unfortunately it was abandoned by the devs to focus on Monster Train 2 and wont be receiving any (much needed) future updates. It has the bones to be an amazing game, but is missing a bit of variety and content that is needed to make a roguelike like this one remain fun long-term. The first dozen or two hours are great, but once you've been through the classes and bosses it gets repetitive.Still, it's unique enough that it's worth it picking up on a steep sale if you can.
