For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About

Years after the events of the prequel INDUSTRIA, Nora is stuck in a parallel dimension, far away from home. Trapped between machine-built walls, she survives alone in an abandoned chapel near the coast.

Nora soon comes to the realization that she cannot evade her past and must face the haunting responsibility that lies within it – her involvement in the creation of the uncontrollable A.I.

I had this on my Wishlist for a couple of years after playing Industria (1) - I was so looking forward to it ! Having been stuck on the Dishonored franchise since Covid, Industria (1) was actually good enough to wean me off Dishonored. I have never been so disappointed by a follow up game. If I had played this first I would never bother with Industria (1) which would be unfair as it is excellent. This game has very clunky controls, most of it is fighting off large robots in darkness (very boring and repetitive). You have a companion (personally I don't need a companion, I think it takes away the immersion of an FPS game). The save mechanisms (tapes instead of typewriters) seem to be spaced further apart game-wise - I prefer to choose when I save ideally but this was worse than Industria (1). As you can probably guess (from the Dishonored mention) I prefer games with a bit of stealth and choice and this is pretty linear and very little stealth! The first game was so good.... I now feel so disappointed and have decided I am not going to finish it, I am tired of wandering round in the dark shooting robots!!!!
I found the original INDUSTRIA to be an exquisite experience, and this sequel actually continues that tradition in a different but more playable way. The game is quite good, with great visuals and decent gameplay. There's just a few flaws here and there, but that's always expected, and most should likely be fixed. Took me about 10 hours playing immersively. While the game does give off Half-Life 2 vibes, it definitely has its own style and cool lore. (The gamer community can be one of the most impatient, fickle, critical groups around, so to each their own!)
Boring level design, texture bugs, uninspiring combat.
Как и в первой части - хреновая оптимизация, ходьба по унылым однотипным заводам и отсутствие половины перевода, вот насколько разработчикам пое..
It has its fun moments, but the sheer number of bugs makes it practically unplayable. Given its heavy Half-Life inspiration, I'd say it feels like a mediocre mod of that game... Paying €25 for a half-finished game is completely pointless, sorry.
Это что ещё за кусок забагованного кода? Не ожидал такой халтуры. И почему нет плашки "Игра в раннем доступе"? После таких игр всё меньше и меньше хочется поддерживать инди-разработчиков деньгами.
Overall, I enjoyed the game, and I didn't encounter nearly as many bugs as people have reported. I guess waiting a few months before playing it paid off. :) The story is good, although I was hoping for a much stronger connection to INDUSTRIA 1. I played the entire game with the expectation that, by the end, it would explain some of the things that were left unanswered — both from the first game and from this one. Unfortunately, a lot of those questions are still left hanging: * What exactly are the Librarians? Do they connect to the rest of the story, or are they simply extradimensional beings? * How is it possible that Walter entered this world only a few minutes before Nora, yet years had passed for him? *
What actually happened to Walter? Was he simply annihilated/absorbed by ATLAS? He certainly doesn't seem to be the same Walter we encountered in the first game.
*
How did the FKE build such a massive base if they presumably arrived after Nora and Walter?
*
What did Nora actually do during all those years she was stranded? Did she just chill in the chapel?
* What happened to all the people inhabiting this dimension? *
What happens to Brent?
Did you seriously put an unreachable radio at the end of the game? :D Probably my biggest disappointment with INDUSTRIA 2 is that it feels somewhat disconnected from the first game. There are references and familiar elements, but the continuity between the two stories isn't nearly as strong as I expected. That's a shame, because both games are brilliant in their own way, and I would have loved to see the story properly concluded. The ending was also a bit buggy for me, with some missing audio lines and sound effects during the main enemy encounter. Despite all of the above, I still recommend the game. It's a really good title, and I think some of the negative reviews focusing heavily on bugs and performance are perhaps expecting too much from a small indie studio. As far as I understand, this is essentially a two-person team, and what they've managed to create is genuinely impressive for such an ambitious and technically complex game. At the same time, I can absolutely understand the mixed reception when it comes to the story and the overall feeling that the game was somewhat rushed. I enjoyed my time with INDUSTRIA 2, but I can't help feeling that it could have been something truly special if it had taken the time to properly connect the story back to the first game and answer some of those questions.
If mediocre were a hat, INDUSTRIA 2 would wear it like it was some sort of award. I liked it, but found the game to be very boring as it progressed. Chapter 1 was alright, though it started to flounder towards the end. Chapters 2 and 3 were just mind numbingly boring. The level design has some areas that look cool, but the amount of empty corridors that end to dead end empty rooms really starts to drain your interest. Fighting the robots is entertaining at first. Smacking a robot down with an axe in a 1v1 brawl was certainly a highlight of the game. Pistol, Shotgun, SMG, Rifle, Revolver. They all work, but even with the upgrades you can buy they never really feel like they're improved enough to make any of that worth it. Combat also becomes the same kind of experience, with enemies coming at you in these slow conga-like lines. The world is very linear, which is frustrating due to the amount of dead ends that lead to nothing during those moments you want to explore. Sometimes you're rewarded with ammo or crafting items, but much of the time it's just some empty room or dead end. Storyline wise I think you can play this without too much knowledge of the original. You get a Cliff's Notes version of the previous game that includes some of the basic bits of information. But the world itself doesn't have much of a story to play out. You interact with a NPC, Marlene, for much of the game. Not quite one long escort quest, but by far one of the least interesting and useful NPCs to ever grace my screen. There are notes to find that give you some backstory on previous residents, but it doesn't really establish much in the way of lore or interest. You can use a radio now and then to talk to a specific character, but it's so boring I just skipped them when I saw them. If you played the first game and were hoping for more, I don't think this game is going to meet those hopes. It's more of a casual jogging simulator with FPS elements. Also an odd choice in making interactions with doors/drawers a dragging mechanic without much in the way of physics elsewhere. It feels like an idea that wasn't fully implemented. The ending is alright. There's more than one, though the differences aren't huge. In the end it's just an alright game. I couldn't finish it in one sitting due to how boring the whole thing is, but over the course of 2 days it doesn't feel like a complete waste of time.
