Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

everything about the game is 10/10 but the pacing is so bad and the movement made me so dizzy i quit the game from the second mission

Love Indiana Jones, wish they would make more story DLC'S. Game is a little glitchy though. other than that its sweet.

Cons: 1. The squirrelly movements that lead to the game's delightfully nimble and improve style gameplay can lead to moments where Indy will fall to his death or clip awkwardly into the environment. 2. Still has many graphical issues. Mainly pop up in the later areas of the game. Moments where the geometry disappears and the lighting popping in weirdly through the trees. Also caused the framerate to dive off a cliff in these areas. 3. The inability to pet the cats in the Vatican :( Pros: 1a. I didn't expect when I first played the game in 2024 that the story to this game would be good let alone being the effectively the missing 6th film in the franchise that I could imagine them making in 1994-95. 1b. For real, the story is so Indiana Jones that it is almost painful. I felt much of the same emotions while playing this as watching the better movies. 1c. The characters in the game are incredible! The beatdown whimsy of Antonio, the sharp charm of Gina, and the gleeful and charismatic Nawal all add to story beautifully. 1d. Troy Baker's performance as Indy is astounding. Everyone groaned at his casting, but the dude IS Indy. Like they should have gotten him to voice the de-aged Indy for Dial of Destiny. 2. Graphically very impressive where there are many moments I did a double take many times for how much everything looked like a movie from from the 80s shot to look like one from the 40s. 3. For the most part the game is incredibly optimized. This might be the first game where Nvidia's Frame Generation actually worked rather than feeling like a pointless option. If I ran the game fully in the "Supreme" preset I would get 55 fps, but with FG I was getting capped 110 fps the whole time (until the last open area). 4. Fascist Puncher 2024. Knocking around Nazis and Blackshirts never ever gets old! I really love this game and I didn't think I would. I love Indiana Jones with The Last Crusade being among my top 10 favorite movies. What I think I love about this game so much is that it is crafted with love, but not blind admiration. MachineGames added to the Indy mythos and did so with a vigor that I think most fans wouldn't do. That is what makes the game work so well. In all the imperfections just like the main character.

Nach ca 250h über verschiedene Platformen mit allen Achievements wollte ich mich auch einer review widmen. Ich kann verstehen, das dies nicht das Spiel für jeden sein wird. Allerdings hat es (im Vergleich mit anderen aktuellen Titeln) einige stärken, die auch immer wieder Spaß an einem neuen Playthrough bringen. Zum einen fühlt man sich wirklich verbunden mit dem Erlebnis, dank gut gestalteter Cutscenes in Kinoqualität. Geile Texturen und Visuals. An den Animationen kann gerne noch etwa gearbeitet werden. Auch wen es viele Dinge zum Erkunden, sammeln und fotografieren gibt, verpflichtend sind diese nicht zu Sammeln. Abgesehen von wichtigen Gegenständen für die Story. Es läuft auch auf älterer Hardware die aber RT ready sein muss. Work in Progress

[b][h1]Sa place est dans un musée[/h1][/b] Oui, dans un musée du jeu vidéo avec en légende "Comment faire un jeu digne de la franchise cinématographique dont il est tiré". Indiana Jones et le Cercle Ancien n'est pas un excellent jeu, il y a quelques longueurs, les gameplays exploités sont correctement utilisés mais sans jamais briller pleinement cependant le tout est cohérent et surtout l'alchimie prend bien parce que le jeu est extremement fidèle et respecteux du matériel original.

Вот я и прошёл игру: "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle". Скажу сразу, игра отличная, приятная, атмосферная. Если кто-то скучает по приключенческим адвенчурам с элементами исследования, сюжета и казуального экшена, то обязательно играть, такие игры в наше время редкость. Ну а теперь ук оценочному обзору: Сюжет - 9/10 (приятный, интересный, финал огонь, начало провисает и долго разгоняется, в остальном круто); Геймплей - 9/10 (великолепно сбалансированный геймплей, классные головоломки, элементы исследования, один из лучших ближних боев на кулаках и возможность при этом использовать любые подручные (а именно подсвеченные) предметы, что очень круто. Минус - ужасный ИИ противников); Физика и графика - 9/10 (физика прямиком из Half-Life, т. е. шедевр, а графика - огонь и прелесть), но вот системные требования немного портят идеальную оценку; Персонажи - 9/10 (удались не прям все, главные герои - огонь, очень хорошо прописаны, глав. злодей - мразь, которую хочется сразу убить, а вот второстепенные персонажи уже слабее, но всё равно положительно влияют на атмосферу + насыщают дор игры; 100-процентное прохождение - 8/10 (местами сильная духота, особенно в моментах, где надо обратно возвращаться на другие локации, награда - спорная и очень одноразовая, к тому же видно, что отступая от сюжета игра становится уж больно скучной, что, к сожалению, не очень приятно, но всё же много и своих плюсов. Атмосфера - 10/10 (вот тут ребята очень сильно постарались, атмосфера из фильмов передана полностью + сохранили тот самый уютный вайб старых частей). Тут сработало всё сразу, персонажи, наивный и казуальный экшн, сюжет, музыка, кнут Индианы Джонса, тупые нацисты и т. д. Итого - 9/10. Отличная игра и шедевр для фанатов Индиана Джонса. И ведь действительно, все технические казуальные решения сделали игру такой, какой её захотели бы увидеть не фанаты хардкорных игр, а именно фанаты данной франшизы и ламповых археологических приключений :)
