idk much about the narrative part just yet ; and i really think this game is cool but i have to leave a bad review for now! developers, please make your sidelanes more visible. i think the game is really hard to read for me personally and struggle to keep my eyes as i feel like the visuals are too little and my eyes have trouble keeping track. i especially think this is true whenever they make you swap keys, i feel like the visuals are really hard to tell with the backgrounds, and i'd appreciate more visibility with brighter colors for the keys and everything! the game seriously has potential, but i can't get into the flow as of now...
Speaking from what I suspect but cannot be certain is around the halfway point of the story... This is not Another Rhythm Game. This is not another box to drop the same BMS licenses into. This is something else. This is a game for freaks, and it has quickly risen to one of my favorite games of all time. If you are here for asymmetrical multitask rhythm gaming /and/ girls suffering and unsuffering /and/ optimization puzzles, I suspect it might be one of yours too, at an absurd price for the sheer amount of Game in the game. Fellow freaks, please play In Falsus.

First of all, delisted demo. What the ♥♥♥♥ lowiro? Why? Is that not just blatantly anti-consumer? Arcaea already does enough things that I'd argue are definitely that... Onto the game itself, it's way better on assist mode. Seriously, the puzzle mechanics are genuinely some of the worst padding I've played in a game in a while. I tried to be patient with it, I really did. It just gets worse as the game progresses, unfortunately. Rhythm game itself is... fine. Control scheme is very unorthodox, especially the use of the pinky finger on Shift. It feels awkward in a way that isn't really fun for me personally. Visibility is, similarly to Arcaea's "light side" charts, also a problem, especially on the side lanes and ESPECIALLY the red one. sure hope you like getting jumpscared by charts lol Finally, and the thing that makes me the most salty: The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Story. no not the character. well that too but-- oh ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell. It starts out genuinely great. Character writing is really fun, the world-building and such is fun as well... Then you get into Arc 3. Oh my goodness gracious this might be some of the worst writing I've seen in a game in a very long time. On the bright side, it's at least so laughably bad that it loops back around to being entertaining, but that's not really what I signed up for. It pulls ♥♥♥♥ out of its ass, it tries to be super "anime" but completely misunderstands what makes that cool in the first place, it brings up random buzzwords left and right, it tells you things instead of showing them... all in all it feels like every writing mistake you could make was made here and it baffles me. music is real good though. some great originals that I will be listening to outside of the game should they become available officially. also i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love Io. insanely good one-off character. he's great
The side lane notes are super hard to see, the game really needs note color options. Accessibility options are just totally absent and it seems like a very basic thing to include. If the demo had been available i would have learned that ahead of purchase and not bought the game. Otherwise i'm having a good time, but that issue is a big one so I can't recommend it.
look i get it, you want to put a vn in this..//........ but for a rhythm game where you mainly want to just listen and slumjam to music? and then you have tacked on puzzle game stuf bro.... wtf, r u thinkgen............ this terribloo my man. make a option to like... le.... skip everythang n just give all the unlocks instantry
