While this game has some minor glitches there is nothing game breaking and it has a very fun survival loop if that is your thing.

Decent game, but really needs a quick save / quick load function.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unable to do boss fights in multipalyer, the night scales too quickly, and kill xp isnt shared. Very grindy and time consuming,
Pretty good. Needs some more polish but there is a diverse amount of enemies, weapons and combat styles. The graphics are as expected for an Unreal Engine game, good but not Final Fantasy masterpiece level. There is some slight use of AI for voiceovers but all of the text is human-written - which is made obvious by some minor formatting errors and typos. The people complaining about having to create/log in to an Epic account need to get a grip. The game runs on UE4 and you aren't forced to install the Epic launcher. Get over it, that isn't a valid reason to review bomb and refund a game. For a $20 game, there is nothing to complain about. It has plenty of content and should get better with time. Edit - the flying bird enemies that come at night do far too much damage. They destroyed my entire base in under 45 seconds on the flying monster night. My duo and I decided to let them kill us to prevent further damage, but they set us back hours in under a minute.
This game is an unexpected diamond in the rough. I do not understand some of these reviews and there is no way to give this a fair assessment if the player has less than an hour, let alone 12 minutes. Anyways, I think this game deserves some hype, and I will be honest about what criticism I have. First impression from watching the trailer is that it looked like it had some fun elements to it.. but the monster hordes, sea battles, and mixed reviews had me hesitant to play. I love fantasy, survival, crafting, building, and adore zombie games. This seemed to mix them all with an overall pirate theme. My friends and I decided to give it a try while we wait on some releases coming up and we are all very glad we did. Let me start with the good, since in my opinion, it far outweighs the bad. • A beautiful hand-crafted world that is chop full of points of interest, surprises, and treasures to find. The map is bustling with life, whether it is animals to hunt, enemies to kill, or people to save to populate the trading post. Exploring is fun and gliding is satisfying. The better the glider, the more satisfying it becomes. Once you get one, scale the mountain next to the starter spawn, enjoy the view and jump. Enjoy the glide. • You get a fairy companion that brought you back to life by linking herself to you. She levels up along with you and you get many options on customizing your experience. It takes a minute to get used to where you can spend all your points. You have trait points, skill points for your skill tree, and fairy points that you use for either the fairy or the phantom limb. So, if the fairy is not your thing, spend your fairy points on your limb. Once we understood her more, her companionship starts to get more appreciated. • I mentioned the hordes making me hesitant on buying it, but this actually ended up being more fun than I thought. The higher your level, the harder and more varied the hordes become. You also get special appearances of mini bosses you have defeated that come back for vengeance. Knowing you get visitors at sunset gives you urgency and purpose when you set out in the morning. Some days you may need to stay home to fortify your base or rebuild but there is an option to be given safe nights with the right offering if you really just want a break. I won’t spoil that for you though. • There is a lot to craft and build. You may or may not be a fan of the way to build but there is quite a few options. There is a codex that tracks discoveries for the collectors out there and food you can burn or learn new recipes with. • Progression feels smooth. You notice better combat and strength in your character change as you go on and things being more smooth. It doesn’t feel overly grindy. • You can go into world settings and customize almost everything. You can choose to have raids every 3 nights for example or make the hordes smaller. There are a few options lacking in this which I will touch base on below. Overall, there is a little bit of everything in this game… exploring, gliding, mounts, swimming/boats, fast travel, crafting, building, gardening, animal husbandry, raiding, rescuing, looting, trading, mini bosses, big bosses, monster horde with surprises, and you can tell the devs took care to keep you engaged while out and about. Now for the bad: • Multiplayer (which says it’s in beta) works ok… but I have been kicked without warning from the server my friend is hosting. The game autosaves and I have yet to lose any progress and it is a quick reload in, but that does need work. It doesn’t happen all the time but in the 35ish hours I have it has happened probably 6 or 7 times. And yes, you do need an Epic Games account to play multiplayer. • There is one annoying bug that is only an issue on multiplayer that keeps me from building easily. The host doesn’t seem to have this issue but when I try to scroll the mouse to change in between repair/demolish/upgrade etc.. I have to play around or scroll for a while to get it to move to different options. This does not happen when playing solo… this definitely needs to be addressed but for me isn’t game breaking. • It is a shared loot system which isn’t a problem normally but that means when there is one gun in the beginning … only one of you gets it even if there is 3 of you. Also the syncing does not always work well. For example, someone can find a fairy skill statue and “gather it” and not everyone gets the level but it can not be gathered again. I think in multiplayer / co-op there should be a toggle or something to customize how loot gets distributed or allow all players to get their own. We all know that one loot goblin. You do have individual xp learning but mostly things are shared. • When the raid hits the chaos and music is loud. At first I wanted to turn it down, me and my friends sort of liked it because it added to the atmosphere, but some people are going to hate that and it should be optional to bring the volume down. I think that covers most everything to give you a fair overall review. Yes, it has it’s bugs… it’s early access but what it does have right is a ton and devs are active in this game. I recommend it, especially at the sale price. I think there is much more to come for this game and look forward to seeing where it goes.
Here is he pitch - you are a pirate, you just got your arm bitten off by a kraken, then you are recued by a fairy and end up on an island. But... every night a giant horde of Zombies attack you! (Yeah, that's what I thought too!... but wait,,,) It's not often that you get to be pleasantly surprised by a game these days. I took a punt on this one, not really expecting much - but it is actually pretty damn good. For a small team, the graphics are great, the game has solid mechanics, is engaging and the whole 'Zombie horde' thing actually adds a new spin to the genre. Even the Fairy is cute! The game is actually well made, with none of the jank you expect from many 'indi survival' titles. The options are well thought out too. If you want to just chill out and gather/build, there is an option for you - if you want full on Zombie mayhem, you are catered for as well. The game is also stupidly cheap - you get a lot of bang for you buck! A game that isn't crap needs applauding these days. [Now, the real reason I bought this is that it is an Unreal game - that means I can get it to work in VR (with UEVR) - and it works flawlessly and looks totally amazing (If you have VR, and if you have injected UEVR into flat games, you will know the wonderfully immersive experience that awaits - If you are 'not into' VR (or feel somehow angry and aggressive when you hear those two letters - there is not much I can do for you - carry on looking a picture on a flat screen - good for you!) ]
I'm really enjoying this. It has ALOT of content for an EA and i'm really liking the combat. 2h sword is great for close range and bow feels really good for pulls. I'm not into the Night of the dead but had it on until the exploding guys starting showing up so i turned it off for now. That lets me just focus on all the other things i'm enjoying without worrying about that part. But once i get high levels and prep more i'll go back to it. The fairy seems kinda weird to me. When she speaks the chat window disappears so fast that i dont always catch what she said. Maybe theres a place to reread what she says? I use the sheild proc when in combat which i like but besides that i'm not sure how to fit it into my game play. I'm just started to exploring the underwater areas which is done good also. I cant wait to see what the game will grow into but it something I can just log in and chill. I recommand it 100%.
Great game. Did everything up to the quest line saying wait for update. And there's a lot of content. There are bugs, but nothing major that a reload(save game, load game) wouldn't fix. Story yes, pretty good. Graphics ehh like yes the grass, sun, ocean good decent like what you see nowadays, mountains on the other hand eh some textures are a bit dated. Gameplay. Not bad could be tat bit smoother, same goes for whole game you get major resources from say piles on the ground, like chop a tree get it in your inventory as wood, 10 wood = 1 plank. Or find a pile of planks on the ground and hold E to collect like 7+ planks, same for chests hold E, quiet a while to hold like 2.5 secs, could be shorter. But not a bug most things that I didn't like where just qol features missing not bugs. Bug was call mount can't move. Or alt+shift changes keyboard language layout and game thinks I'm on controller all of a sudden. Crafting, Different crafting benches but shows all craftables at each one, quiet messy again missing QoL features, but regardless of that all works and it's easily to learn, I can see going away from the game and coming back months later and still know how everything functions. Talents, levels I'm level like 180 idk what max is so sorta can learn half or almost all the perks, messed up and as 60 killed a level 90+ boss so then sorta did the previous bosses verry easily, probably do to content being added later on in between them I guess. Overall really well made and fun, do recommend.
