Fun incremental game. It eventually becomes idle, but that takes a while. Is fun though and getting QOL updates all the time.

Numbers go up. Relatively quick idle, the story comes together as you progress. I wouldn't mind more lore and more upgrades, but that's probably the autism in me.
This needs to be expanded to add in weapons, combat, a roguelite progression, and a huge map with things with exploring and learning about. Game is solid and fun.
Really fun little game, plenty to do actively if you want to but also a good system to set up passive automation that gets unlocked and gets better as you play. A little grindy in parts but if you want to optimise there's plenty of opportunity
i enjoyed it!
Lots of fun looting and crating ship layouts
It's part idle game, part exploration. Prestiging isn't as troublesome as other idle games, and there's a lot you can actively do, managing inventory, your travels and your build. Working out the best way to use the space available for power generation, storage, harvesting and all the rest is neat. I've finished all the achievements now, and will take a break, but I can see myself coming back to this
I only planned to play this in my off time but ended up 100%ing the game over 105 hrs. IDLE_DIRECTIVE is a strong game that would benefit from evolving out of the Idle genre and I highly encourage the developer to take this format and run with it, it has a lot of potential for a more involved 'traditional' type of game. The concept itself is great, the setting of a dead world with little context shared only by playing and unlocking what little lore there is over time sells a feeling of isolation and desolation I wasn't expecting to feel any form of immersion an Idle game so this really stuck with me. It's this what drew me in and makes you want to find out more. What happened to world, setting and factions, why is bio-fuel so... off putting...? The gameplay loop is simple as is usually the case with idle games but it has a great inventory management/optimisation aspect to it where you must connect your hardware in a way that's the most space efficient to maximise how many scrapped together old-world machines you can connect to yourself. This was the 2nd thing that kept me interested, I wasn't just seeing numbers go up but I had an actual active role in how this happened and I could see this slow, ugly robot scavenging metal and piecing itself together, it was morbid but interesting. Everyone will land on their own unique approach and playstyle, something that felt honestly quite refreshing and personal from a genre that doesn't really ask for much from you. I feel there could be a great follow up to IDLE_DIRECTIVE as it has a lot of potential if the devs explore stepping away from the idle aspect and further growing and exploring the space management system, the terrible but mysterious world and the feeling of embodying a lone robot, patching itself together on a dying world piece by piece. Even after finishing it I'm curious for more.
