An extremely annoying game. How annoying? Playing a cripple fighting a boss.
It's really really really good. Pixel art is superb, music is awesome, gameplay feels good, and the world building is probably the best part. It lets you glimpse into so many different parts of the world but never overexplains anything.
A Competent Meh-troidvainia
It's not a bad game. But it's not an interesting game either and that's the crux of this game. Everything about it is 'Mid'. Well except for the exploration. It's startlingly linear for something that wants to be a Metroidvania. You never really feel like you're exploring, just following. The combat is a solide meh as well. Again, it doesn't seem to take any risks. and even the wrench gimmick basically just boils down to a 'Use' button with a fancy animation. At the same time it also manages to be obnoxious. The story some how manages to try too hard, and be lazy at the same time. It's trying to be taken seriously but honestly It's hard to care about the story or the characters. maybe because the game interrupts you so often with dialog and cutscenes which are thankfully skippable but still kill the pacing. This game is so mid I actually wish it were worse. At least then it would have something memorable. As it is. It's not a bad game. It's a well put together game, but it feels like something someone who doesn't like, or understand the appeal of metroidvanias would make after playing a few. No shade at the dev/pubs , as said, the game is well put together. No jank, or shoddy design to be seen. But at the same time there's a lack of 'spark' and enthusiasm. 5/10. Okay, but there's more interesting Metroidvanias out there

My absolute favorite game in the "Where the feck do I goooooo?!" genre of platformers. This one is a gem.
Rendered obsolete by the passage of time. Not nearly as creative as it thinks it is and runs out of steam very quickly. The game is overall too easy to call it a puzzle platformer, nor does it give the player a consistent enough stream of new abilities and tools to call it a metroidvania. It simply languishes in a previous era where pixel graphics and chiptune music was enough to validate publishing an otherwise forgettable and redundant indie title.
This game quickly became my personal favorite of all time. Stunning visuals, fantastic soundtrack, Smooth and snappy gameplay, and such a compelling story with so many characters bursting with life and intrigue. I've had my eyes on this game for several years now, and experiencing it for myself just further cemented my love for it. Hats off to the dev - it was clear this masterpiece took 7 years to make. Bonus points for being able to throw the keys at chests in order to open them, rather than walking up to them.
超折磨 地圖設計真的超爛 快瘋掉 美術真的很不錯很細膩 很想繼續玩下去但地圖跟指引真的狗屎
.
Poor Conveyance, Fantastic platforming and visuals.
