Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game mechanics didn't age well. Going back to a save point after death, no autosave, boring repetitive grinding... The characters are nice but the plot is too basic.
sniiiiiiif
Cara....
Very fun game with cute girls. Difficulty can spike at times if you're not grinding although the DLCs alleviate most of the grinding. Speaking of grinding I wish the in-game encyclopedia was clearer on where monsters are and whether they're spawned with the more monsters plan because it was a pain finding certain drops. Certain dungeons being locked behind you finding a hidden treasure (and getting lucky) was annoying but I suppose Laplace Eye plan has to have some incentive to use it. Blanc is best girl.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1, developed by IDEA FACTORY Co., Ltd., COMPILE HEART Co., Ltd., and FELISTELLA Co., Ltd. and published by Idea Factory International, Inc. and IDEA FACTORY Co., Ltd., is a complete overhaul of the original Hyperdimension Neptunia, designed to reintroduce the series with updated mechanics and a more accessible structure. Rather than acting as a simple remaster, it reworks core systems and pacing to better align with later entries, effectively turning it into a more polished and approachable starting point for newcomers while still preserving the series’ distinctive tone and identity. The story follows Neptune, one of the CPU goddesses of Gamindustri, who begins her journey after losing her memory in the aftermath of a major conflict. This setup allows the narrative to gradually introduce the world, its factions, and its characters through Neptune’s perspective, making it easier for players to become familiar with the setting. Gamindustri itself is a playful parody of the video game industry, with each region representing different console manufacturers and gaming cultures. The writing leans heavily into meta-humor, frequently breaking the fourth wall and referencing real-world gaming trends, clichés, and rivalries. This approach gives the story a unique charm and personality, though it can also feel excessive at times, particularly when the humor begins to overshadow narrative progression. Combat is built around a turn-based system that incorporates movement within a defined battlefield, allowing players to position characters before attacking. This adds a tactical dimension that encourages consideration of spacing, attack ranges, and enemy placement. The ability to customize attack combinations and utilize special skills provides flexibility, enabling players to tailor their approach to different encounters. Compared to the original version of the game, the combat system feels more refined and responsive, making it one of the stronger aspects of the remake. However, despite these improvements, the system does not evolve significantly as the game progresses, which can lead to repetition once players settle into effective strategies. One of the more interesting features is the Remake System, which allows players to alter various aspects of the game by unlocking and applying plans. These modifications can introduce new dungeons, adjust difficulty levels, or change gameplay parameters, offering a degree of customization that adds variety to the experience. While this system does not fundamentally change the core gameplay loop, it provides an additional layer of engagement and encourages experimentation, particularly for players who want to explore different ways of progressing through the game. Despite its improvements, the game is not without its flaws. Progression can at times feel uneven, with noticeable difficulty spikes that require players to spend time grinding levels and resources. This can disrupt the pacing, especially when the story is interrupted by the need to strengthen the party before moving forward. Additionally, while the game offers a wide range of characters and customization options, the overall structure remains fairly repetitive, with similar dungeon layouts and gameplay patterns recurring throughout the experience. Visually, the game combines colorful 2D character art with simple 3D environments, creating a contrast that is both stylistically consistent with the genre and somewhat dated. The character designs are vibrant and expressive, helping to bring the cast to life and reinforce their personalities. In contrast, the environments—particularly dungeons—tend to lack variety and detail, often feeling repetitive after extended play. This imbalance highlights one of the game’s recurring issues: its characters and writing carry much of the experience, while the world itself feels less developed. The dialogue and character interactions are a central part of the game’s appeal, with a large volume of conversations that emphasize humor, personality, and relationships. The cast is filled with exaggerated and memorable characters, each contributing to the game’s lively and often chaotic tone. For fans of the series, this is a major strength, as it reinforces the unique identity of the franchise. However, the heavy reliance on dialogue can slow the pacing, and the humor, while distinctive, may not resonate with all players. In the end, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 succeeds as a reimagined introduction to the series, offering improved gameplay mechanics and a more accessible structure while retaining its signature style. It provides a solid foundation for the rest of the Re;Birth trilogy, delivering an experience that is both entertaining and character-driven. While its repetitive elements, pacing issues, and reliance on niche humor prevent it from appealing to a broader audience, it remains a worthwhile entry for those interested in its unique blend of satire and JRPG gameplay.
