Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The funny Steam reviews write themselves, but this game is so simple that if you have spent any time in a game engine you could make it yourself in a few hours. I never thought I'd say $3.99 was too much for a game, but that's the case here. In fact, it's not really worth downloading for free except for just the humor of it. The only redeeming value is the Steam friends leaderboard. Having friends who got it in the bundle, played for a few minutes and quit, leaves them showing up on your leaderboard with a 1 cm "rooster". That's a screenshot waiting to happen and the reason I left it running in the background for 16 hours.
Short Review
How to Train Your C0ck is exactly as ridiculous as it sounds, and the joke is the only good part. It's a barebones idle game where you level up four stats until progression stalls out within a day and a half, after which you're just grinding golden eggs for cosmetics. I got a 100% completion without feeling much of anything the whole time, and honestly, this was a waste of time overall. Not recommended.
Full Review
How to Train Your C0ck has you raising a chicken from a tiny chick into a hulking, muscle-bound bird, pumping stats, buying hats, and decorating his little training island while it sits in the corner of your screen. The premise is the entire pitch here, and it works for only a tiny bit. The concept. The humorous concept is the only genuinely good thing about this game. It's obviously the main draw, and I get why, but it wears out fast, since the game doesn't really do much with it beyond how your chicken and pets look and how a few things are named. Once the initial "haha, c0ck" wears off, there's not much else propping the experience up. The gameplay. This is a very shallow idle game. You've got four stats to pump up, and progression stalls within a single day. After that, it's just collecting golden eggs, the secondary currency, to buy customization options. At least they don't force you to collect all of them for the achievements. I feel like they easily could've added more incremental options to keep this interesting, like actually using the treadmill, doing jumping jacks, doing a bench press, or literally anything other than lifting the same dumbbell over and over. The Pounder. I never touched the Pounder Machine outside of doing it once for the achievement. I never saw any point in gambling at rates that bad, and I'm honestly not sure how they expected players to use it in any effective way. The ad placement. I hate that the developers decided to shove an ad for their other game into a game I already paid for, one that can't be removed by any means. It wasn't a huge deal while actually playing, but I absolutely hate that they thought this was acceptable. I won't be buying their next game because of it, on top of the fact that it's likely more of the same, and the c0ck joke already got everything it was going to get out of me. Overall, I can't say I had much fun with this one. It's a barebones idle game that doesn't do much outside of a slightly funny concept that fades fast. I left it running for a few days, got my 100%, and never felt any strong emotions the entire time. I didn't spend much time actively engaging with it either, but I still walked away feeling like this was an overall waste of time.
As someone who's spent thousands of hours on idle games? Not this one guys. Genuinely the only thing I can point to as a positive experience is the name. The controls are annoying to navigate, the progression isn't satisfying, and even the overlay is beans. Idle games should either be something fullscreen you can minimize at your leisure or largely unobtrusive and able to lock to the task bar, some games even do both, this does neither. I only have this game because it was in a humble bundle of idle games, and so far it's the worst of the lot.
When you press the camera button, the game creates a folder on your desktop called "♥♥♥♥ Pictures". I didn't notice it and had a great time explaining it to a customer, I give this game 1000/10
This game is amazing. From the gameplay to the lore, this game is for casual and hardcore gamers alike. The lore is extremely rich and deep and it will keep you invested. I recommend this to anyone.

I got "How to Train Your ♥♥♥♥" from an idle Humble bundle, and honestly, it’s a pretty meh "game". The gameplay is super simple, and while there are some funny memes here and there, there’s not much else that really stood out to me. There is constantly an ad in-game advertising their next game and you can't "X" it away. The upgrade mechanism is also absolutely bare-bones. You have four things you can upgrade: Strength, Stamina, Recovery & Speed. Strength obviously improves the numbers by "1". Stamina determines how long it can idle before needing a "downtime rest". Recovery reduces downtime to allow you to earn more points, which you cannot do during downtime. Speed improves the rate at which you earn points. Occasionally you also get eggs near your ♥♥♥♥ to get pets which are now relevant to do expeditions. You can exchange points for golden eggs to buy him hats, dumbbells, new islands, decorations and change his colors which also improve the overall aforementioned stats. That's it. Idle it for 35 hours, sometimes click on stuff to upgrade and thats it. The one big positive? The achievements are incredibly easy to get, so achievement hunters can knock them out without much effort, but other than that? It's absolutely bare-bones. It's as if someone followed a idle game tutorial on Unity and then put some chicken art options and called it a day. There are no mechanics beyond the absolute minimum for an idle game. The controls are annoying to navigate, the progression isn't satisfying and stalls a lot after like 15 hours and the overlay is poor. Idle games should either be full-screen and minimizable at your leisure, or largely unobtrusive and able to lock to the taskbar. Some games even do both; this does neither. Would only recommend if you want fast and easy 100% achievement games within like 50 hours. Edit: The newest update added 5 new achievements and you need your "♥♥♥♥" to be 75cm or bigger which takes hundreds of hours of brainless idling just to wait for expeditions to end, yaay. Another con on this bare-bone trash.
