Everyone is saying that there are a lot of bugs and glitches, but after 11 hours of playing I have seen none of those. Since the remastered came out there have been like 10 patches at the time of me writing this review, so if these bugs were there, they are surely not there anymore. I loved the original game, and the remastered version is still satisfying, not to mention the improvements. I love the new tools, especially the copy and modify option that got added from the second game. I love that they upgraded those uncanny 3D pictures the buyers had in the original game, and that every quest comes with a little cutscene where we can see the person we will work for, and hear their voice, along with seeing an original quest title art for all of them. I find this really charming, especially the titles, because they are just so unnecessary, but the devs still decided to take time and make original art for every quest. It just shows how much love they put into this title, and I am sure there will be many patches to come to smooth out the experience. Also, if you have the original game and any/all DLC, you can get the remastered for cheaper, which I found nice.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm really disappointed that after all this time, the bugs were STILL never fixed, and in fact there are more (three different shades of blue dragma tiles but when places on walls are all the same blue). Also removing the "cyber" DLC markers makes things much harder to search for. Not to mention the workshop creations have been restricted, disabled, or otherwise damaged with the switch (lights don't turn on?). I was so excited for this release, checking over and over again for the date, and... this is what we got. Just stick with the cheaper original. The duplicate and edit tools don't make this worth it. This is a huge let down for me. It didn't live up to the hype. While I'm thankful it didn't morph into the awful sequel, I really hope things improve and are fixed so I'll be happy to change this review someday, because House Flipper is genuinely one of my absolute fave games (339 hours in it). Bummer.
From all the reviews I was nervous to buy this but it is worth it pleaseeee trust me when I say that.
Honestly kinda meh remaster, more bugs than the original and some achievements don't pop.
VERY VERY GOOD GAME IF YOU LIKE SIMULATOR GAMES
Look, I love this game. I have it on every platform you can play it on, I have all the DLCs, it's probably the most-played game in my library along with Skyrim. This remaster is great, I have come around to HF2 also, what I'm trying to say is I am absolutely a fan and I love this game in all its versions. What I don't love, and what I simply have to complain about for my sanity, are the *#%#$# BUYERS. I hate these people so much, I never have their "notes" on while working on a house, and I'm actively sullen about any of them buying the finished house. First of all, what they care about seems to be decor, which in a flipped house is just STAGING, but that lady who is obsessed with tomatoes can get bent, it's an APARTMENT, VICTORIA OR WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS. The one that absolutely kills me is that "we don't have kids NOW, but we have to have TOYS for them!" Wait, what? Your hypothetical house has to have a toy for your future hypothetical children? Go to therapy! That's insane! Also Mr. I Need A Garage, please explain why you're even showing up for the APARTMENT I AM FLIPPING? I love when I do a whole house with a huge open living room and little nooks and a pool and what the hell ever, and these dumb dumbs are like, "Waaah, we can't hang out anywhere with the whole family :( " Yeah, that big-ass room isn't for your family because I didn't place one kid toy there, so how will you know it's okay? Do they not realize this is going to be THEIR house and if you want tomatoes, toys for your ghost children or w/e, a TV, a medkit (excuse me dude do you think I am furnishing this house from Walgreens?), a sauna, or "more room for your documents" that is UP TO YOU, idiots. Buy your own furniture! I am being silly here, but I DO wish the mechanic for the buyers was fixed in the remaster. I still can't sell a house to that dude who wants like, a rug, a cardboard box for a bed and two shelves in perfect distance from where he sleeps. Maybe this is just me, but I despise these buyers and their very hyper-specific, mostly decor-based needs for a house. It's like HGTV but even more insanely nit-picky! I get it, they're NPCs and you have to make arbitrary "qualifications" but why are there like six people buying every house I flip who are never satisfied? THAT IS A Y'ALL PROBLEM, SHUT UP ABOUT YOUR NEED FOR A DRESSING TABLE AND MORE THAN ONE WARDROBE AND LET ME LIVE, VICTORIA. IT'S CALLED IKEA.
PROS: - Graphics definitely got a revamp. Love it. - Placement grid is nicer to work with. - Workshop items from HF 1 imported well (apart from those over [strike]3mb[/strike] 10mb now) and work just fine. Some are duplicated but it's whatever, no problem. - Job map is really nice to work with and made me actually want to do the jobs. - VAs are great - Changed lines when doing up a house for flipping are a nice touch CONS: - On controller, when you're buying something, you still get the infinite scrolling glitch when selecting colours and such. Very frustrating, ruins gameplay when it happens. - Lots of movement glitches compared to HF1 - Lots of light-based visual glitches, flickers, flashlight just flickers as if its dying - Store menu organises by location names not the DLC names we know from before. Confusing and borderline annoying at times. - No HFR workshop (yet? Please?) - Tool shed and some other items don't actually customise even when you've triple checked, bought it again with the customised colours. Just goes back to default. Really, really silly issue there. - Some items just outright VANISH so you can't move or get rid of them. You have to play chicken with them, or just give up and accept you can't do anything about it. - *Edit to add new one* can't enter my own chicken coop area through the chicken fence gate on reload.

In it's current state, at full price, I do NOT recommend House Flipper Remastered. If these silly bugs were fixed, I'd change my mind. As it stands, buy it on a huge sale, or just go to HF1.
