Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the brutal conclusion to the Hotline Miami saga, set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 18.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 19.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is a fast, brutal, and stylish action game that builds on the intense formula of its predecessor while expanding the scale and complexity. It combines precision combat, stealth, and trial-and-error gameplay into an experience where every mistake is punished and every successful run feels earned. The biggest strength is its atmosphere. The neon visuals, aggressive soundtrack, and strange, unsettling story create a unique identity that few games can match. The game delivers a constant feeling of tension, with chaotic action balanced by moments where careful planning is necessary. The gameplay takes the original concept and makes it larger. There are more characters, different abilities, bigger levels, and more varied situations that encourage different approaches. The combat remains extremely satisfying, with quick decisions and precise movements being the difference between success and failure. However, the expanded design also creates some problems. Some levels are much larger than before, which can make encounters feel less focused and more frustrating. The difficulty is extremely high, and certain sections rely heavily on repetition until you memorize enemy placements. The story is also intentionally confusing and fragmented, which may not appeal to everyone. Overall, this is a challenging and unforgettable action game with a strong artistic style and a memorable atmosphere. It is not as immediately accessible as many modern games, but its unique presentation, intense gameplay, and uncompromising design make it a standout experience for players who enjoy difficult games that demand patience and precision.
Even better than the original game and is also more hardcore. It's not as janky and killing enemies is still super addictive, there's many different player characters with their own gameplay style and there's workshop support with many great custom maps
3/10 -- Failure of a sequel. Prepare to be sniped at all times.
It's almost a good game. Hotline Miami 1 was a great game, and this game had so much potential as its sequel, and then completely dropped the ball. This game genuinely suffers from some of the worst level design of all time. Next time you play--well, first off, my condolences--but next time, keep track of how often you die to random crap that isn't even on the screen. You'll notice pretty fast that it's going to be about 80% of your deaths or more, with the rest occupied by abysmal controls (Beard weapon-switching comes to mind) or genuinely being out-skilled. I am not joking when I say that the most effective way to clear any level is to get a gun, then start blindly shooting into the distance to preemptively kill whatever it was that was going to snipe you from across the map. I've gotten a 10x combo from it. There is *THAT MUCH CRAP* off of the screen that you can't even see which can instantly kill you from a mile away. This wouldn't be so bad if the controls weren't designed for tight space, claustrophobic, fast-paced close-quarters combat; the gunplay in this game is very questionable and not very satisfying, but for whatever reason, the developers made it the priority when considering level design. Most of the levels suffer from egregiously long sight-lines that enable the enemy--which are all snipers now, apparently--to gun you down with impunity, leaving you to memorize their exact positions and armaments. This isn't a fast-paced action game anymore: it's a memory game. A top-down, twin-stick memory game. To be completely fair, it might be worth playing this game at all if you got a total overhaul mod that fixed some of these ridiculous sight line problems... or just got rid of the windows entirely.
Bu oyun bir harika adamım😎😎😎
♥♥♥♥♥♥ story, constantly jumping between characters, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hitbox collisions and attack timings, ♥♥♥♥ level design, not a bad game, just mid
