Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautiful game. I read some comments that people are finding it difficult to get the habitats right, and yes, it is, but it's not really that hard. You just have to explore and try, and be patient. Most animals will visit your garden when the habitat is starting to become attractive to them, and by clicking them you will learn some of the features they require. Then puzzle it together! 10/10 recommend if you want to play a cozy strategy game ^^
Easily one of the best games I've ever downloaded. It's cozy but still has a strategic/competitive edge that makes you want to push for more. If you're looking for something relaxing with a good payoff then this is definitely the game to get.

Been looking for a game to scratch my Zoo Tycoon itch for years and this game is the only thing that's achieved that. The freedom in creativity, relaxing gameplay, and beautiful enviornments makes this game so incredibly addicting. I'd recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of Viva Pinata, Zoo Tycoon, or just a gorgeous agricultural game experience.
It was confusing at first but once you understand the controls and the game’s style, it becomes addictive. I almost want to refund this game because I struggled to understand lol. I thoroughly enjoyed this game; my brain functions so quickly that I can easily collect certain bugs and fish and decorate my garden to match their preferences. It is like a puzzle game for me! which is kinda fun if you want to excercise your brain. The thing I love is the decorations… so so fun and cute 💖 I highly recommend this game if you want to focus and temporarily disconnect from real-life crisis.
A whimsical garden-builder where you restore a garden that has fallen to a mysterious decay to help out some Gnomes, attract adorable critters by building habitats, and fight off evil creatures at night.
Developed by inDirection Games and published by Slug Disco, Horticular: Build a Garden, Attract Wildlife offers a refreshing blend of garden design, wildlife conservation, and gentle management mechanics that delivers a deeply relaxing experience without sacrificing meaningful progression. Instead of focusing on farming for profit or surviving against harsh conditions, the game centers on restoring a forgotten magical garden that has been consumed by corruption. Guided by a group of mystical Keepers, players gradually reclaim neglected land and transform it into a vibrant sanctuary where nature can thrive once again. This narrative framework gives every improvement a sense of purpose while maintaining the calm atmosphere that defines the entire adventure. The game's greatest strength lies in the freedom it gives players to shape their own paradise. A wide variety of terrain types, flowers, shrubs, trees, decorative objects, and functional structures become available over time, allowing every garden to develop its own identity. Whether creating colorful botanical displays, peaceful woodland retreats, or carefully organized nature reserves, the building system encourages experimentation rather than perfection. Progress feels rewarding because each new unlock expands the possibilities instead of restricting creativity, and the absence of harsh penalties makes the experience welcoming to both newcomers and experienced simulation fans. The gradual pace ensures there is always another goal to pursue without making the game feel stressful. Wildlife plays an equally important role in the overall design. Animals are not simply cosmetic additions but active participants in the ecosystem, each requiring carefully crafted habitats before deciding to settle permanently. Players must consider environmental conditions, vegetation, terrain layouts, and available resources to attract different species. As more creatures arrive, the once-empty landscape evolves into a lively ecosystem full of movement and natural beauty. Maintaining these habitats becomes an enjoyable balancing act since neglected environments may drive wildlife away, encouraging thoughtful planning rather than random decoration. This ecological focus gives Horticular more depth than many cozy builders by making every design choice contribute to the health of the garden as a whole. Progression extends well beyond planting flowers. The magical storyline unfolds gradually through interactions with memorable characters who communicate through letters, offering tasks, rewards, and helpful guidance as the garden expands. At the same time, the lingering corruption serves as an ongoing obstacle that introduces occasional objectives requiring players to cleanse damaged areas before continuing their restoration efforts. Dynamic weather, changing seasons of activity, and the day-and-night cycle further enhance immersion by influencing wildlife behavior and environmental conditions. Features such as photography, gardening competitions, collectible exchanges, and extensive customization options provide additional incentives to continue refining the garden long after the primary objectives have been completed. Support for community-created content through the built-in editor and Steam Workshop also adds significant replay value for players who enjoy expanding their creative possibilities. Visually, Horticular captures the charm of a magical storybook with colorful environments, detailed plant life, and lively wildlife animations that make every section of the garden feel alive. The soundtrack complements this presentation with soothing music that perfectly matches the relaxed pace of gameplay. While the experience intentionally avoids high-pressure mechanics, its slow progression and emphasis on careful planning may not appeal to players seeking constant action or rapid advancement. Nevertheless, those design choices align perfectly with the game's philosophy of encouraging patience, creativity, and appreciation for nature instead of competition or efficiency. Horticular: Build a Garden, Attract Wildlife succeeds in creating a cozy simulation that feels both creative and meaningful. By combining satisfying garden customization, thoughtful ecosystem management, light storytelling, and a peaceful atmosphere, it offers an experience that remains engaging over many hours without losing its relaxing charm. It is an excellent choice for players who enjoy building beautiful environments, discovering wildlife, and watching a once-forgotten landscape slowly flourish through their own imagination and care. TLDR: Base game is empty and really poorly managed, BUT playing with mods is awesome and very fun. Yay for modders, Boo to the developers for making such a bare bones game and calling it good when it had so much potential. I would definitely not recommend this game in it's base version. There's maybe 10% of the total animals that should be in the game, and the animals they do have are just painfully basic and not at all whimsical given the game's theme of magic. Like I swear there's only like 10 animals in the whole game, yet a GIGANTIC garden to build in. I don't want to build the same 4 habitats over and over again, that's just dumb and boring. There's also the issue of decay and sickness. EVERYTHING is decaying and getting sick ALL THE TIME. Literally every second you have several new animals and items needing urgent attention. Even when I have a bajillion keepers and soothers, everything is always falling into despair. I don't really understand why they needed to make it so persistent, and it really comes together with my first point that they simply put the bare minimum into the game. They didn't care to fill the game with meaningful things, just time wasters. Despite all that, playing with Steam workshop mods is awesome. Some cool people made plenty of mods that add in all the animals that SHOULD'VE been in the game, as well as plenty of really fun and magical additions. There's also an abundance of plants, decor, and tiles to add that make it feel fresh and fun even 90 hours in. So all in all, base game is poop. Modded game is awesome!
I've been enjoying this game; I like that it's fairly chill while also having tasks to do. I do find the banishing feature kind of finicky at times and I think it can be improved (it's very tile-specific + you have to hold it down for a bit), and it's also hard to expand sometimes because it can be difficult to get more gold, and I'm left waiting multiple in-game days to finally save up enough to expand or buy something from the merchant. This isn't really a problem with sandbox mode, but going from unlocking ~4 creatures to checking out creative mode made me feel overwhelmed because there's so many items. I think that mode is better for when you already have an understanding of all the habitat requirements and plants, but ofc it's hard to get to that point when you have to grind for gold in the regular game mode. And ik it's easier to get gold when you have more variety in plants and such but that's hard to do when you... can't afford those plants to begin with lol. Anyway, just some thoughts, but overall it's a fun game. I do have some gripes but that doesn't mean I don't recommend it.
